Day 3

Jimin's shoulder feels better already. Alphas tend to heal faster than betas and omegas, so everyone has already caught onto that fact. Yoongi hears the gossip from everyone at breakfast and feels... annoyed. Like it's no longer a secret that only he knew. But he feels better knowing that nobody else knows his scent yet.

That information is all mine.

Then Yoongi wonders since when his wolf became so possessive.

Ever since finding out that Jimin is an alpha, Yoongi's wolf can't seem to settle. Speaking in his mind louder than usual. He's not usually so... active.

There are no challenges today, so all the contestants gather around and decide to use the bonfire set up. Yoongi jumps onto the idea and takes charge of the cooking. A few others joined him and everyone else was delegated to other tasks. Yoongi meets Mina (the older lady that caught Jimin's lie in the 2 truths and a lie game), Jackson (a rough-looking sweetheart that is always willing to help), and Sasha (a foreign exchange student from Russia who's been in South Korea for 3 years). Jimin went to go help get the wood from the storage sheds across the estate. Yoongi doesn't wonder where Jeongguk is, he's busy gathering ingredients. He gets the meats, the fish, the noodles, the kimchi, the side dishes, the greens, the whole nine yards. Sure, this is a dating show, but it's also a competition and he doesn't want to be eliminated. Cooking for everyone will definitely put him on everyone's good side. Plus, Yoongi knows he's a great chef and that Jimin- er everyone will love it.

Everything is almost done cooking when he hears cheering and clapping from outside. Yoongi turns to look out the window and...

Skin. So much skin.

The guys who had gone to pick up the wood collectively decided to take their shirts off while transporting the wood on this sunny evening. So they came back, bare torsos on display, strong arms holding onto the bundles of wood, sweat glistening at all their dips and curves. Yoongi had to remind Sasha and them to make sure nothing burns since they were all distracted. Yoongi remains alert, but still glances over. Jimin is fit and lean. What was it that he did in high school? Dance? Track? Yoongi tries to look away but then Jeongguk comes into view too. His build is a bit bigger, but still lean. The tattoo sleeve is new information. He hears Jackson drop a ladle.

"Sorry chef. I'll get another one."

Yoongi finds it amusing to be called 'chef' when he's not at his workplace. "No need to call me chef Jackson-ah. It's fine, just clean it up. We're almost done here anyway." Yoongi can tell Jackson is still staring at Jeongguk even as he wipes up the spill. Mina and Yoongi share a look and hold in a laugh.

After everyone is clothed and the bonfire is set up, the cooking team bring out the food and everyone gets in line to get a serving. There are log benches set up in 2 large concentric circles around the bonfire, giving everyone a chance to enjoy the warmth.

Yoongi is still serving by the time the line has dwindled down to just a few. Yoongi wonders where Jimin is until he shows up as the last one in line. He has a plate in his hand as he walks around behind the table next to Yoongi.

"I'll serve you this time, you've been at this all day." Jimin gestures with his head to go to the other side of the table and Yoongi listens without questioning.

He's taking care of us.

In Yoongi's mind, his wolf is practically wagging his tail. On the outside, Yoongi manages to curb his smile into a small polite one. They walk side by side to an empty log bench and sit down to eat next to each other.
