I tremble here, tangled in sheets of white,
The room smells sterile, so silent, cold fight,
Sunlight spills like memories on the floor,
But all I feel is a weight I can't ignore,
You, with your glasses, the way they caught the light,
You made the shadows dance, turned darkness into bright,
Through every tear, every ache, every fear,
You held my whispered, and mumbled " I'm here"
But the August boy left a scar,
As wound so deep, it felt like a war,
He didn't see me, just a name on a page,
But you saw my heart, even in this cage,
Now I'm shifting, like the dusk in the sky,
And I can't find the words, just a heavy sigh,
I want you to know that you saved my soul,
It taught me to breathe, to feel, to be whole,
With every heartbeat, I cherish our days,
The laughter, the stories, those gentle ways,
But time is cruel, and I'm running out,
I desired deeply to stay, but I was filled with doubt,
So here's my goodbye, though it breaks me apart.
Know that you're etched forever in my heart,
wear your glasses, let the world see you clearly,
And remember the feeling that once drew me near,
As I drift into shadows, don't let your light dim,
You're the song in my silence, the hope in my gleam,
Though I'm saying farewell, I'll always be there,
In the whispers of wind, in the soft evening air.
