17. Relax,what's that.

After settling in the guest rooms. Everyone took some rest. The maid told them that it's almost Dinner. And in a few moments everyone was there except Veerika, Yuvraj.

In awhile, the trio joined the table. As soon as they did the maids started serving them. After getting served they all digged in their food and devoured the deliciousness of Italian cuisine.

While they were enjoying the meals, a guard rushed inside the Palace. Seeing him everyone got tensed except Isha and Anya.

"What happened?" Yuvraj asked trying to calm down the tensed environment. "T-the French.." he stuttered.

Veerika's hand stopped mid-air when she was about to take a bite and her jaw clenched. As I said earlier that only these names are enough to boil her blood.

"What about them?" Yuvraj asked understanding Veerika's state. "They want to be our allie" The guard said making everyone's eyes widen except Anya and Isha.

"Who gave the message?" Veerika asked calmly. "He just left" The guard answered. Veerika thought for a moment.

"Get the messenger, apart his head from his body and send it as our answer" Veerika said calmly. But hearing her answer, Ivaan, Aryan, Yuvraj and Aarika's eyes widen.

The guard nodded and left. Avni and Isha were shocked by hearing her cruelty. By the time Anya was asleep on the highchair getting tired from the bade logo ki conversation. So she didn't heard anything.

Ivaan knew that Veerika and that Ace definitely has some past issues nor Veerika would never do something like that.

He wants to know what happened with her when they abandoned her. He knows it sounds weird but yeah he wants to know what happened with her little chirpy and always happy Veery.

But what he doesn't know is that the little Veery has died long ago. They made her dead.

She was once treated as a princess. But they didn't trust her. There little misunderstanding made her life a fucking hell.

After the dinner, Everyone got into their respective rooms. Veerika was on the rooftop with Lily and Yuvraj spending some time.

They both sat their under the stars, gazing them. Meanwhile lily was busy in nibbling Yuvraj's hand while resting her head on Veerika's lap.

Yuvraj didn't even mind it cause it wasn't like she was hurting him. Veerika had been resting her head on Yuvraj's shoulder while caressing lily's head.

"Why is he back?" She merely whispered almost inaudible but he heard it. "It's ok warrior, I know you'll fight him and defeat him again" He said in a soothing tone.

"We're with you, you don't have to worry." His words calmed the unknown hidden turmoil inside her. He unknowingly gave her something which she always wanted but never got Support she never.

It was around midnight Isha was roaming around the gigantic mansion. Everyone was soundly asleep. She was being very quiet. Actually she was trying to find Yuvraj.

Earlier in the daytime she asked one of the maid about Yuvraj's room. The maid did tell her. And now here she is trying to find him. At first she searched in his room, but he wasn't there.

She reached the rooftop and saw Yuvraj sitting there alone. She thought it as the best chance. She walked near him but before she could reach. Lily jumped on Yuvraj playfully.

Isha got furious as she saw lily jumping on him.

She took angry steps towards them and pushed lily away from him.As soon as he saw this he stood up furiously. He was confused what just happened.

Before he could react a voice boomed,"what the fucking hell!" It was Veerika who was in the kitchen making some hot chocolate and getting some treats for lily.

As he saw her, he almost ran to lily, to check if she's ok or not. On the other side Veerika's voice send chills through Isha's spine.

Lily whimpered being scared so without wasting any time, Yuvraj scooped her in his arms and started comforting her,"Shh, it's ok li. See I'm here, warrior's here, it's alright",He said in a comforting manner. Lily snuggled into his chest trying to find comfort.

"Why would you do that?" Veerika asked in a dominating tone, scaring the shit out of Isha."I-i t-thought she attacked him" Isha stuttered being scared.

"So what, even if she did you have no right to push her" She said, her voice was laced with anger."and according to me he is quite enough to protect himself ".

" I-i a-am s-sorry" Isha stuttered again. "Fuck off" Veerika replied. Without wasting any moment she left. Veerika sighed and walked towards the Lily who was snuggling into him being scared.

"Lil?" Veerika called her name softly. Lily peaked out of his chest cutely making both of them chuckle. "She's gone baby" Yuvraj said softly trying to ease her.

She finally came out of his chest fully. But still wasn't ready to leave his arms. "Oh so you don't want me?" She said accusingly in a playful manner.
