Life Is Ineffable

11:23 PM...
There were four of us in the house, Arin and Mikaela shared a room. Me and Victor shared another room, we were all in our room resting and yet why does it feel like there is another person downstairs?
"Who on earth is eating downstairs?" I though to myself
I pulled my body up to hear the sound better,
"I should really check this" I said to myself, "but i wanna sleep so bad already."
I forced my body to get up and slowly walked up to the door, i placed my hand on the door knob.
"Luci?" Victor said
"Don't call me that" i replied, "what is it?"
"Is someone in the kitchen?" Victor asked
"I don't know." I answered
"It must be Arin getting food." Victor said
"I'm gonna go check if it is her." I said
"I am coming with you." Victor replied
"Scared, aren't you?" I said teasing Victor
"Hell no." Victor replied
"Then why do you want to come with me?" I asked
"You never know if there's danger" Victor answered, "if there is trouble, at least i know about it."
"I see." I replied
I twist the know slowly trying to open the door without any noise. We walked in a stealthy manner, we saw Mikaela and Arin walking towards the staircase as well
"Hey, Mikaela." I said softly
"Oh hey, wait" Mikaela replied, "if all of us are here then who the fuck is down there??"
"I DON'T KNOW." I said
"Be careful, we don't know who's down there." Victor said
"Bitch, i just said that." I replied
We slowly approached the staircase and took a little peek and in our surprise, there is in fact someone there.
"Is that a dude??" Mikaela wondered
"I think that's a girl" I said, "she's just wearing a tight hoodie."
"Sooo are we going to get her or something??" Arin asked
"Of course, but first we need to know what she's doing here." Mikaela answered
"Let's slowly go down." I said
"Let's go." Victor replied
We crouched our way down, trying not to make any sudden noise.
We made it down and we walked in a line with me up the front,
"There she is." Arin pointed
"Let's go." I said
We approached her from behind while she was occupied with cooking something in the microwave but shokingly, she wasn't alone.
"Jan-il!!" The other person yelled with a muffled voice from the mask, "behind you!!"
"Shit." The girl said and quickly ran from the back door, the other person exited from the main door.
"Chase them!" I ordered, "not you, Arin."
Me and Victor quickly chased the other person while Mikaela chased the girl.
We tried to chase down the other person and we got close, i was able to grab the back of his mask, it came off and we saw a bit of his face but he got into a car too quickly for us to fully remember his face. Mikaela on the other hand, wasn't able to catch a glimpse of her face and the girl was too fast for Mikaela and she got away.
In the end, both of them got away.
"Let's go back." I said
"Yeah, sure." Victor replied
We went back to the house and so did Mikaela,
"You okay, Arin?" Mikaela asked
"Mhm, all good." Arin answered
"That's good." Mikaela said
"So what now?" Victor asked
"Some will sleep and the others won't, and then we'll rotate" I answered, "the house needs to be guarded."
"So who's gonna sleep first?" Victor asked
"The girls can sleep first." I answered
"That's just unfair!" Victor yelled complaining
"So you're just weak minded now?" I said
"I'm tired though..." Victor complained
"All of us are but the men should go first, don't you think? Arin and Mikaela?" I said
"Yep." Mikaela replied
"Should be fair." Arin replied
"Ugh fine." Victor said
"Good" I replied, "both of you go up and take a rest, we'll take care of things here."
Mikaela and Arin went up to rest and we were left downstairs to guard the house.
"You are way too much of a gentleman." Victor said
"Well i was raised well." I replied
"You should be more misogynistic." Victor said
"I'm not that type of person, i guess." I replied
"Yeah yeah, whatever you say." Victor said
We stayed for 4 hours downstairs until finally the girls woke up and decided to replace us and let us have some rest.
And so another 4 hours went by and we woke up with the smell of eggs and bacon,
"Yo" I said kicking Victor on the leg, "let's head downstairs and eat, i'm hungry."
"I'm sleeping, damn it." Victor replied
"Stop conplaining before i drag you down." I replied
"OK!" Victor shouted, "i'mma come down."
"Be quick." I said
I went down first to eat,
"Morning, Luci!" Mikaela greeted
"G'morning too" I greeted back, "is that eggs and bacon?"
"Sure is." Arin answered
"Here are yours." Mikaela said
"Thanks" i replied, "by the way, i'm going out for a while."
"Where are you going?" Mikaela asked
"I'm gonna book us four a ticket back to Japan." I answered
"We're going to Japan??" Arin said
"When though?" Mikaela asked
"I'm going to book it for tomorrow at 3 PM." I answered
"Okay then, finish your food and get going." Mikaela said
"Alright." I replied
I finished the food and went out immediately, i rode for a while and finally arrived. I booked it exactly as i wanted it, and went back to the house to get things ready.

Back at the safehouse...
"*Yawns where's the prideful prick?" Victor asked
"He went out to book us a ticket back to Japan." Mikaela answered
"Oooh i'm finally going back there." Victor said
"Oh wow, so i'm the only one here that hasn't been to Japan??" Arin asked
"You're not the only one" Mikaela answered, "i was supposed to go there along with all the Sins but Kyle forgot that i was coming with them and so here i am still in Korea."
"That must be sad." Arin said
"Sure is, but i still miss him though." Mikaela replied
"You sure are sweet." Arin said
"Aw thanks~" Mikaela replied
The three chatted for a few hours until i arrived from the booking.
"Hi there, good afternoon all of you." I greeted everyone
"Sup." Victor said
"Hiyaa." Arin said
"How was the ride?" Mikaela asked
"It was good, i was able to book us all a ticket" I answered, "so all of you, pack your things because we leave at 12 PM tomorrow."
"Yes, sir." Arin replied
"I barely have any stuff here so i'm just gonna watch some TV." Victor replied
"I'm gonna go get my things from my old house, i'll be back." Mikaela said
"Yeah, sure" I replied, "here, use my car."
Mikaela went out and used my car.

3 hours later...
Mikaela came back with her stuff packed and ready,
"Hey, i also bought some food for dinner." Mikaela said
"Thanks, Mikaela." I said
"No worries." Mikaela replied
"So what's for dinner?" Victor asked
"I got Luci some kimbap since he barely eats, i got you some McDonald's and also Arin." Mikaela answered
"Where's Arin anyway?" Mikaela asked
"Oh she's been upstairs ever since you left." Victor answered
"I though she went down?" I asked
"Nope, she did not." Victor answered

A silence hit us three...

We rushed ourselves,
"Check upstairs!!" I said
We went up to see if she's there, and she apparently was fine and was only packing a lot of things,
"Oh hey, Mikaela" Arin said, "i was just packing, is something wrong?"
"No, nothing wrong." Mikaela answered
"Why are you packing so much though?" I asked
"Well... It's my first time going to another country other than Korea." Arin answered
"Oh... Well, first time for everything." Victor said
"Don't worry, Arin" i said, "pack only the important things and don't pack clothes any more than 5 groups."
"Why?" Arin asked, "are we only going to be there for a bit?"
"We're gonna be there for a while but we're going to buy you new clothes." I answered
"Really??" Arin said
"Of course" I replied, "it's Japan so you're gonna style more there."
"Okay!" Arin said excited
Mikaela then went down to ready the dining table for dinner.
We ate and chatted for a while, we slept and i woke up at 9am. I woke up everyone else except Arin, she was so excited that she woke up at 6am.
"You woke up early, huh?" I said
"It is my first time so i'm really excited." Arin replied
"That's good" I said, "but we are not there for a vacation, okay?"
"Yes, i know." Arin replied
"When we time then we can have fun." I said
"That's fair." Arin replied
I took a shower and everyone else followed after me, we got ready and left at 12pm.

The rest is as expected...
