My first day at Hogwarts, I didn't want to talk to anyone. I'm not antisocial or anything, I was just terrified someone would find out my secret. The only thing going through my mind that day was: what would they think if they found out what I am? No one would come near me. Everyone will think you're a monster. And then something magical happened. I met two people who would change my life.

I met James Potter who would become the most energetic friend I'd ever have and Sirius Black the guy I'd hopelessly moon over for years.

James Potter is a classically handsome guy. James has jet-black hair, blue eyes and is about 5'8" although he definitely acts like he's taller than everyone, he just has that type of personality but not in a cocky way in a way that everyone likes him.

Sirius Black is almost too good to be real. Sirius is hot and Merlin does he know it, he's 6'1 and he's so sarcastic it's annoying, but for some reason it's what drew me to him. I don't know what it is about Sirius, but there's something about him that's addictive. Maybe it's his gorgeous flowing black hair, maybe it's his stunning grey eyes or his perfectly pale skin. I don't know what it is, but there really is something extra magical about Sirius black III.

If you hadn't guessed already, in Remus john lupin and I'm a werewolf. Before you get all ooh he's a werewolf, he's a monster, it wasn't by choice. The last thing I wanted in life was to become a freak of nature and to be looked down on by everyone that finds out what I am.

It's been years since I met James and Sirius, but they're both just as crazy and energetic as that first day. They're always together, and that honestly makes them worse. When those two are together you never really know what will happen, and usually they end up in detention which stops them causing trouble for a bit, but it also means Sirius isn't around for me to admire like some sort of Greek statue.

Unfortunately, today was one of those days when Sirius and James got in trouble and had detention because of none other than Snape. Of course, it was Snape, I swear that slimy little snake just loves to ruin our days.

I'm sat in the library, and usually I'd be happily lost in my book, but today nothing interests me. I've got this amazing book by me favourite author in my hands and I just can't get into it. Something was wrong. It could just be that the full moon is literally next week, but I've never felt like this before, so it can't be that.

Sirius.

Sirius.

Sirius.

All I can think about is Sirius freaking Black. Merlin, why did he have to have detention? All I want to do right now is crawl into a ball and sleep forever. Not being able to see Sirius is honestly painful.

I'm getting so frustrated by not being interested in this book, so I grabbed everything I brought and made my way to the front desk to check out this book. I might not be able to focus on it now, but I am definitely getting through it, one way or another.

I got to the front desk at Merlin, the woman at the front is so slow. I mean yeah I get she's old, but why she couldn't get someone to help her I have no clue.

"Um, excuse me, so sorry, but I really need to get going." I told the woman as kindly as I could. She turned around impossibly slow with a wide smile on his face.

"I'm sorry dear, I'm going as fast as I can. It is hard being the only one working here." the woman told me, and I felt sorry for her. Image working in the library of Hogwarts by yourself and being about ninety.

"Maybe I could give a helping hand whenever I'm free, if you would be okay with that?" I offered, giving her a small smile.

"Oh Mr Lupin dear, I wouldn't want to take away your free time. I'm sure I can find someone else to help." she said with a wide smile.
