such a heavenly way to dye part 1 - flower husbands

[Starting off with the ship that introduced me to the life series.]

[This takes place at the hermitcraft×empiressmp crossover, when the ranchers got reunited]

Scott's pov

[Not based on their episode btw I'm making my own plot here😼]

After the some kind of earthquake that hit chromia my instant thought was to Check on jimmy, we might not be flower husbands anymore but that doesn't mean I can't check on him he's a...friend afterall...

So I quickly flew there, as fast as I could. getting a bit closer to tumble town, I could make up two silhouettes, two familiar silhouettes to be more specific.

I quickly landed and rubbed my eyes thinking I was just hallucinating but as I got closer my suspicions were correct, i saw there at the middle of Jimmy's empire him and, tango...

They were just talking but I felt some kind of stinging sensation, I was happy of course that tango is here he is my friend afterall but still, I hate to admit it but I was jealous...which I shouldn't be cause we're kmnot even a thing and at least tango brings out the best in him.
But nevermind that how did he even get here? I mean I know we could go across realms as we've done it for the life series but that's just because that was just a temporary series we made.

Before I could overthink some more I saw jimmy and tango has noticed me, so I quickly snapped out of it and went towards them.

"Scott! Come here look Tango's here! Isn't this just so exciting, I've missed him soon much!" Jimmy blabbered about, I flashed a smile, but hearing his enthusiasm about tango being here made me feel... I don't know bitter?

LIKE I'm the one always here?! But he doesn't seem too enthused whenever I come around!!

"Oh Tim, missed you too buddy, you too Scott!" Says tango, "yeah me too" I said "doesn't seem like it, now I feel sad, come one Scott where's our bubbly blue boy" tango says faking a frown, I chuckled a bit then he ruffled my hair.
"Anyways how'd you even get here?" I asked "oh long story" he says "oh, oh I have a saloon, we can go hang there and you could tell us all about it!" Jimmy says trying not to seem "too" excited, which he was failing at miserably. So loud and obnoxiously annoying and for what?!

Jimmy directed us to where his saloon is, we got inside and then we sat in a Little table beside a window. "Oh before you begin story time, I'll just go get us some snacks really quick" jimmy says before he left me and tango at the table.

The atmosphere was quite awkward so I broke the silence and spoke "so when are you planning to leave then?" I asked. Shit now I just realized I probably sounded rude but too late now
"Woah there, I just got here and you're already asking when I'll leave? Come on now Scot you're hurting me" he say in a very dramatic way even putting his hands on his chest "oh sorry, I don't know what with me today" I said he chuckled "it's okay, I understand, I also don't function well under jealousy" he says once again ruffling my hair "what?" I looked at him confused "come on scott, don't think I haven't noticed, when you first saw me and jimmy together earlier you just froze, then while jimmy was acting all in lov-" I shot him a glare "I meant all excited, you were literally shooting daggers at me" he says giggling "oh no, sorry tango I didn't want to make you feel unwelcomed... I just you know..." I said as I hid my face at the embarrassment.
"its fine bud, I mean If were to see my partner fanboying over someone Id do the same too, well not really I might do worse go be honest" I let out a laugh.

"I was wondering how you managed to not kill every single person who teams up with impulse" "well I'm actually fine with the ones he teams up with, well except maybe bdubs and skizz they're too clingy" he says rolling his eyes as I just laughed

"Oh and by the way why aren't you living with jimmy anyways? Thought couples here also stick together" he asked "oh uhm the thing is we're not really a couple" I said looking away from him
I think he still wanted to asked something but then jimmy had finally come back with our snacks. Took him long enough, still the same as before gosh this man, it's like he can't function properly without me around.

"Guysss I'm back with the snackksss" "yes jimmy we can see that" I said giving a sassy tone that tango just laughed at

So tango explained what exactly happened and how he got here, well they I guess?

Time skip

Tango had just finished telling us the who story, surprisingly enough jimmy actually stayed quiet All throughout just up until he Finnished though

"Oh maybe we could go visit the rift?" Jimmy suggest "I don't know, it's quite late, but maybe Tomorrow we could" I saw his face lit up at my suggestion
"It is getting quite late, tango how about you just live here for the mean time that you guys are here???" Jimmy excitedly proposed "oh sorry bud, Scott actually suggested I go stay at his empire first" I looked at Jimmy's disappointed face as I looked at tango confused "bu-" i was about to speak but then tango covered my mouth with his hands

"Well thanks so much, Cherif jimmy but we must be going now" tango say as he spoke in a dramatic way and tipped his imaginary hat which made jimmy giggle

I was still confused as to why he said that to jimmy but I ribbed it home and decided to asked him it on our way to chromia. "Why'd you say that to jimmy don't you want to go stay with him?" I asked confused "well I do want to spend time with my rancher, but You my friend have some issues that I think I as your very smart, handsome and confident friend can help with" I looked at him again still with confusion I asked "issue? I don't have an issue?"

"What I mean is that you are a coward sometimes, for someone who's literally the sunshine and extrovert word personified, you really do not know much about romance I mean you always do bits and jokes about it but because of how often you do it you think if you actually confess he might again think it's a joke and you might hurt him" I just looked at him, embarrassed, cause he was absolutely right

"so am I right or am I right?" "Tango how the heck do you know this much?" "Experience my friend experience" we both laughed "so do you really know how to help me?" I asked "of course I mean you may think that a smart redstoner as I would've asked out impulse really easily but you are wrong" "I mean yes you're literally so obnoxiously such an extrovert so yes" "you know I could say the same for you too" we both laughed at our dumbness
