Percy stood outside the towering building, its glass facade reflecting the late afternoon sun as he adjusted the backpack slung across his shoulders.

He walked into the lobby, and after a disagreement with the clerk he finally was allowed in the elevator.

When the elevator doors slid open, Percy saw the nicest house (if you could even call it that) he had ever seen in his life.

The marble floors gleamed under the gentle glow of a strategically placed chandelier, their crystal arms gracefully arching like the branches of ancient trees, scattering shards of light across the vast space.

The walls bore a lush taupe color, while bold, dark wooden panels framed oversized artwork. In one corner, a sleek console table, its surface polished to a flawless shine, was laden with a crystal vase filled with white orchids.

The ceiling arched high above, a beautiful chandelier hung, encrusted with what Percy didn't even want to believe was real diamonds there were so many.

At the far end of the foyer, two tall doors stood, their sleek, matte black colour contrasting the taupe walls.

Percy walked up to the door, had he got the wrong address or was Alina just insanely rich? Percy knocked on the door and after 3 seconds of waiting an older woman with curly, blonde hair that fell just below her collarbones and one of the brightest smiles Percy had ever seen opened the door.

"Percy! Hi! You're here for Alina?"

"Hi Miss Anderson, and uh yes I am." Percy didn't know how to act around the wealthy woman to impress her.

"You are just so cute, oh! You'll have to come to my house one time and meet up with me and Lina!"

"O-of course!" Percy blushed at the comment on his appearance.

The woman smiles and there was a sound of footsteps approaching before Alina appeared at the door. Her hair was blown out and she had dyed her hair back to its natural colour. She had it clipped back in a half up with a tortoise shell french barette. She was wearing a navy blue american flag jumper and Percy just knew from looking at it that it was expensive. Her grey jeans fell loosely over her legs and just about covered her navy blue adidas spezials. Percy thought she looked different in her face, like she did on Circe's island last summer, she had on too much bronzer for her own good and her cheeks shimmered pink.

"Percy hi!" Alina smiled at him, she looked healthier and happier than the last time Percy saw her. She grabbed her black puffer coat of a coat rack, grabbed her overnight bag and her aunt kissed her on the forehead to say bye and then Alina left with Percy.

"So, you're aunt, is she nice?" Percy asked as they stepped into the elevator.

"One of the nicest women I've ever met, you should come to my house one time and meet her properly. She would love you." Alina smiled.
