NARRATIVE !
If there was one word Rudy would use to describe her week, it would be frustrating. Training hadn't gotten any easier, as she and Paige kept running into the same roadblocks. Individually, they were amazing, but together, they left much to desired. Which was why they were each other's default duo partners in practice. On Geno's demand, he was under the impression that with enough practice and hours of gruelling drills, a partnership would form between his two brightest stars. And for the Team's sake, Rudy hoped he was right.
But as the first full week of summer workouts came to an end that was beginning to look less and less likely. Paige and Rudy had hardly spoken, the words exchanged during practice were brief and laced with frustration. Outside of practices the Bryant girl had taken it upon herself to ensure they exchanged even fewer words keeping their interactions to the minimum as it was impossible to completely avoid Paige, they were roommates and were bound to cross paths no matter how careful she was. However, that didn't mean she couldn't reduce the amount of awkward interactions they had.
But in doing so, Rudy had limited herself to eating out, which consisted mostly of fast food. While appetising at first, it quickly lost its charm. The idea of eating over-processed food for almost seven days straight as a college athlete wasn't the most appealing though, especially considering the amount of work that she would need to be put in to burn off said excessive calories. And Rudy was beginning to miss the taste of home. So tonight, she decided to act upon that urge and cook.
