Callie: 2007, the last time two teams faced in the final of back-to-back Splatfests. Now, the Splatsquad and the Octoposse goes head-to-head in the final of back-to-back Splatfests. Welcome everyone to game 1 of the 2019 Splatfest final, where the Splatsquad will be looking to win their 16th turf war Splatfest in 18 attempts, and their 25th Splatfest all together. Whereas the Octoposse will be looking to win their 2nd Splatfest in 4 years. It then cuts to the commentator's booth. Hello everyone, Callie and Marie once again at your service, and this Marie is what I consider a final: 2 teams who had both gone 12-0 during their first three playoff series, now colliding in the final.
Marie, to Callie: Well Callie, everyone knew that these two would collide at some point during this year's Splatfest. But now that we're in the final, this rivalry has reached the next level. Last year it was the Splatsquad, who will it be this year.
Callie: Well, let's not forget about Douglas Hamilton, who is NOT completing in this year's final, meaning that the big 4 for the Splatsquad will be Meggy, Mario, Aliya, and Kiara.
Marie: Well, it will be interesting to see what the Splatsquad's strategy is. Douglas definitely was a key part of the team, but it's going to be interesting to see what happens. It then cuts to the Splatsquads locker room.
Noah, to the Splatsquad: Thou should have no fear!
Mario and Kiara, to Noah: Sir, yes sir!
Tari, to Mario and Kiara: In the might eyes of the lord, and all the previous Splatfest champions before us, this is we'll prove to everyone that we're the best in Splatfest!
Mario, to Kiara, to Noah: Sir, yes sir!
Noah, to Mario and Kiara: This is where we'll lead our team to victory!
Mario and Kiara, to Noah: Sir, yes sir!
Tari, to Mario and Kiara: if we do all that, then we'll have no problem winning the next four games. You guys got it?
Mario and Kiara, to Noah: Got it!
Noah: Alright then. He and Tari then heads over to Donkey Kong.
Donkey Kong, to Noah: Hey guys. Thanks for inviting me to watch the finals.
Noah, to Donkey Kong: No problem, DK.
Tari, also to Donkey Kong: Besides, we couldn't let you watch the final alone. Just then, Smg4 walks into the room.
Smg4, to Kiara and Scarlett: Hey girls, have you seen Meggy and Aliya?
Kiara, to Smg4: No. We thought that they were with you.
Luigi, to Kiara: Well, they're not, and we can't find them anywhere!
Mario and Kiara: WHAT?! But Splatfest is about to start.
Saiko, to the others: Don't worry guys, they're probably just doing some extra training, and they and forgot about the- Just then, a bell rings, signalling that the final was about to begin.
Luigi: Waaah! That's us! We gotta go guys!
Boopkins: What do we do? We'll be disqualified for only 3 people!
Noah: We won't. Because me and Scarlett will take their places.
The others, to Noah: You will?!
Noah, to the others: Well yeah.
Tari, to Noah: babe, I don't think that this is a good idea.
Noah, to Tari: Well, it's either this, or we get disqualified, and the Octoposse win their second splatfest in four years. We have to do it. Tari then sighs.
