CRASH INTO ME IS BEING PUBLISHED!
The lovely Anna Todd's imprint with Wattpad - Frayed Pages - has picked up CRASH INTO ME for publication and will be coming out in the spring of 2026 (tentatively) wherever books are sold.
It's all still kind of surreal to me, that of all the things I've written and toiled with over my years on Wattpad, it all comes back to where it started. CRASH INTO ME was the first book I ever wrote and posted here. I'd only been on Wattpad for a few months, it was halfway completed, I had maybe 50 followers at most, and I submitted it to the Wattys on a whim, not even really sure what the Wattys were or the gravity winning one would have. Having that experience was what gave me the confidence to say 'wow okay, maybe I am decent at this writing thing' and to keep going.
That being said, I wrote the original draft of CRASH INTO ME back in 2018. While it's undergone a few revisions since then, I still haven't so much as looked at it in years. I know I'm not only a much different writer now, but I carry different experiences with me now that I would want reflected in the story. So there will be a lot of changes (all for the better, I promise). The core of the story and a lot of the plot will be the same, but a lot of other elements of the story will be reworked, and the writing will be elevated to the level of writer I am now.
I cannot thank y'all enough for all the love and support this story has received over the years. I've gotten countless messages and comments about how this story has either made some of you feel seen based on your own experiences, or that you've had your eyes opened to a perspective of addiction that you'd never seen or understood before, and that is the root of the reason I wrote CRASH INTO ME in the first place. This topic needs more proper and accurate representation in fiction, and I am so grateful for Wattpad and Anna for giving me the insane opportunity to bring some of that representation to the industry. It means the world to me.
