"Angelina! Get out here you dummy!" Eva honked her horn from her car. A couple of moments later, she watched her best friend Angelina scurry out of her apartment, putting a hat over her brunette curls. "Finally, I was waiting for so long." She groaned as she got into Eva's black Rolls Royce Ghost.

"Not my fault, I couldn't find my shoes." She shrugged as Eva started to drive. "Where are we going?" She asked, putting her legs and shoes on the seat to put her Vans on. "Firstly, get your shoes off my seat. Secondly we're going to a bar." The other brunette replied sternly, her face scrunching in disgust at Angelina's dirty shoes being on her nice car seat.

"Ugh, you're no fun." Angelina put her foot back down on the floor. "What bar?"

"It's actually a karaoke place," She adjusted her rearview mirror.

"Can I have the aux?" Angelina didn't even wait till Eva said yes to take the aux cord and plug it into her phone. "Gee, thanks for waiting till I replied, dude."

She opened Spotify on her fairly old phone since she refused to get a new one, and played the album 1989. "Isn't that that one Taylor Swift album?" Eva tilted her head as she asked.

"The fact that you had to ask is scary." She said, setting her phone down as Welcome To New York began to play. "I'm gonna get so drunk tonight!" Eva exclaimed in a sing-songy voice as she parked the car, and she and Angelina got out. "I didn't even get to play the whole song, screw you." Angelina groaned, following Eva inside the bar.

Soon enough, they met their friends all sitting at a booth, a couple of people were already up singing, and the place was pretty crowded.

"Rena!" Eva yelled, seeing her best friend since drama school Serena. Serena immediately got up to hug her friend and squealed. "I haven't seen you since that time when we both got super high at that party!" Eva squeezed her friend tight. "Evie! Oh my gosh!" Serena smiled very widely, "Come sit down, we need to catch up." The dishwater blonde said as she led Eva back to the table where she and her friends began talking.

About 10 minutes later, Eva finally got up and walked over to the bar. Only one woman was sitting on a bar stool, asking the bartender for a drink and chatting him up, perhaps unrequited flirting as he cleaned glasses, and she was so obviously drunk, that she asked the man if he came here often. And just as Eva sat down one seat away from her and the mysterious, oddly familiar blonde woman turned to look at her, she gasped loudly. "Oh. My. Goodness."

The woman looked like she had seen a ghost, Eva looked around awkwardly and shrugged. "Y-you're Eva Isabela Vida."

"Oh, I am, and you're Taylor Swift. I was actually listening to 1989 in the car... with my friend... Angelina." Eva silently cursed in her head for blushing at such a random and coincidental encounter with the singer. Suddenly, Taylor burst out laughing, which only made Eva feel worse, "What?"

"I- I saw your movie. Midnight on 3rd Street, or something. Hilarious, you're amazing." The singer breathed out. "Midnight on 8th Street yeah, hilarious. Uh, thanks." Eva nervously rubbed the back of her neck. She should've been fine, there was a compliment in there somewhere. Eva pursed her lips and picked at her short and chipped, black-painted nails. "That movie was a horror."

"Oh yeah, I was in a hotel when I watched it. This girl, a total hottie by the way, is driving, and she's about to turn onto 8th Street the GPS says danger ahead, but she still goes. Fucking idiot." Taylor explained the plot of the movie as if Eva didn't know it better than anyone else. Finally, the bartender came and took Eva's order of 6 beers, putting her out of her misery and ending the awkward conversation. Taylor soon skipped back over to her own table, leaving Eva alone, and she exhaled a breath she didn't know she was holding.

did Taylor indirectly call Eva hot?
