"It is done. Shredder went that low!" Raphael snarled, angrily gesturing to our small blinking television screen. The screen was old and the color, the quality, was faded and not that great. We saw thousands of people screaming, running away, and gathered towards the corrupted Foot Clan leader by Foot Bots. Leonardo glared at the television, nothing good ever came from his mouth. Mikey and Donatello were watching, a shock looked on Michelangelo's face. Donatello was annoyed mostly, and Leonardo wanted to punch the television screen solid.

"Citizens of New York City and New York! You shall OBEY me peasants! If any of you dare to rebel against me, there shall be no mercy," Shredder's voice had announced, the sound of little bits of static clear. The Foot Clan flags unfolded, dropping down to reveal the red symbol. It was a raven color and the blood red symbol looked like a sharp edged fire. The four turtles watched with fury and disappointment as everyone was under his control.

This had begun after the Kraang invaded their home, Mother Earth. Personally, Shredder had contacted the Kraang to invade Mother Earth so he could rule the world, first New York, then the world itself; for his own profits and benefits, for a deal. If the Kraang invaded Earth, Shredder would help them find the turtles and do whatever they pleased. "I can't believe this!" Raphael growled, punching the wall hard. Donatello sighed and shook his head. "It's a shame politicians these days are corrupted in this country and others. Perhaps, power really does get to the mental state of humans," Donatello stated matter-of-factly. "Yeah well now if we are the enemies, then no more pizza will be made!" Mikey frowned, which made everyone look at him.

Raphael raised an eyebrow before slapping him on the back of the head. "No, we'll be caught dead!" Raphael narrowed his eyes. "Ow!" Mikey rubbed the back of his head. Leonardo came in between both turtles, pushing them away from each other gently. "Guys, this isn't the time," Leonardo said, looking at Raphael more. "We can't let that corrupted bastard take everything away from us! We saved the people! We were the ones getting our asses kicked out there! And now he's gonna brainwash them!" Raphael fired, which only fueled his adrenaline. Leonardo sighed, and closed his eyes. "I know exactly what you mean, but Sensei says we must keep our emotions in control. We must be honorable and be humble," Leonardo told Raphael who scoffed, turned around, and crossed his arms.

"At least we're safe here. Right?" Mikey smiled, and Donatello had a grim smile. "I would hope so. This place won't be hidden here for long, so we'll have to prepare. Which is why I have my secret stash of retro-mutagen," Donatello answered to the orange-clad turtle. Mikey shrugged his shoulders, and kept smiling. "I'm gonna keep playing my X-Box with Ice Cream Kitty and eat Cheetos," Mikey strolled around to his room as if this Kraang  invasion was nothing. Secretly, everyone was jealous of Mikey, even Raphael. Mikey never thought too much, he always tried to lift the tension.

Leonardo sat down, thinking about what was happening or the probabilities of the power Shredder was receiving from his alien allies. Anything bad was going to happen with The Shredder going around and brainwashing America about their existence being a threat. It made him pissed, that was a huge dishonor to have on your shoulders. Leonardo sighed, wanting to just wrestle his brothers and laugh all day just like old times.

But those days were over.

Master Splinter came in, with a worried look on his face. Leonardo turned his head to face the rat ninjutsu master, with concern himself. "What is it Sensei?" Leonardo walked up to his father. "Has Oroku Saki been able to brainwash or control the citizens of New York?" Master Splinter asked the blue-clad turtle. Leonardo nodded in fear, not much more days left they can hide in total piece altogether. Master Splinter had buried his face into one of his hands, sighing in defeat. "My sons, this is terrible. He's taken everything away, especially Miwa, and now he is going to blame you terribly. You are brave, honorable ninjas for wanting to stop a man of that much power, my sons," Master Splinter told the three. He had a heartwarming smile, one that was rich in time.

Master Splinter looked around, as if something was missing. He was curious until he finally saw who it was. "Where is Michelangelo?" Master Splinter asked. Leonardo chuckled, and shook his head. "He's in his room of course playing X-Box and eating Cheetos." Master Splinter sighed, slightly in annoyance, shaking his head also. "Michelangelo will never learn like this. But he does somehow remind us of the good times, because of his childish acts," Master Splinter smiled, hinting that he was still the same underneath all that tension. Donatello had been pondering, until he finally spoke.

"April! Where did she go?" Donatello asked suddenly. Raphael rolled his eyes and said, "She probably went along frolicking with her boyfriend. Who knows? The last time I saw her was almost a year ago. Or any of us." Donatello's eyes grew a little dark with anger and jealousy. "April has a boyfriend?" Donatello clenched his fists, disguising the anger in his voice. It wasn't fair, the girl Donatello liked for years, at least three, had finally found someone. Raphael knocked on Donatello's head as if it was a doorknob. "Hello? Earth to Donatello Hamato, the scientist? Where have you been? We ALL haven't seen her AND she announced that Casey was the guy," Raphael raised an eyebrow, annoyed by the fact his genius brother wasn't in tune with his surroundings.

Donatello finally felt as if he was hit by a shower of raining books. Raphael was right, April had announced she and Casey were dating. Donatello was too jealous to even pay attention to what happened anymore with April. Donatello narrowed his eyes, being reminded that he was a hideous mutant freak.

And whatever came next, he was prepared for it.
