Harrison's POV

"So, how long do you think Zack and Landon will be?" Luke asked, taking another drag from his cigarette as Nick comes to sit down next to me at the dining room table, taking a long sip from his beer

I pull my phone out of my pocket, looking at the time, squinting as the bright light hits my eyes since they've adjusted to the dim glow here "It's only 7pm, Landon said they were grabbing him at about 6pm, so they should be here soon" I said

I check to make sure that I have no messages from Isabella, I've been too scared to let my phone out of my sight all day, worried that I'll miss a call like the last one

I swear she better be at my apartment or I swear to god

I quickly send her a text, feeling like a whiny girlfriend when I do

But why hasn't she texted back?

Belle Baby:
Sent 7pm:
You haven't burnt the place down yet have you? You've been very quiet my love

I really didn't think this through before I had demanded that she stayed there, I can't even really explain why I did it, I just know that I don't want her out of my sight and I want to know she's safe and no other asshole can ever hurt her again.

Suddenly my phone buzzes, grabbing my attention and I smile

Belle Baby:
Received 7:01pm:
No not yet, but give me a couple more hours though. I'm working on it, when will you be back?

Belle Baby:
Sent 7:01pm:
Ha ha very funny. Not for a few hours, behave yourself

Belle Baby:
Received 7:02pm:
I always do x

I know baby, I know you do, that's why I'm so obsessed with you.

Shoving my phone back into my pocket, I roll my sleeves up and shift to get more comfortable in the chair I was sitting at in the dining room

That's also something else that I didn't think that I would have to try and come up with an excuse for Isabella about where I was going in only jeans and the wife beater, considering that's what I showed up in last night

I had just told her that I had left some clothes at Nick's and that I was going to go grab them while I was out. Which it's not a lie, just not in the house that she's more than likely thinking of. But thankfully she didn't ask any other questions, she never really does, lucky for me

I mean technically it wasn't a lie, I did have some extra clothes at Nick's just not where she'd think they'd be.

Suddenly some random girl comes downstairs and walks over to me "Hey Harrison" she cooed, ignoring her as she perches herself in my lap, flattening her hands against my chest, running them down until they're at the waist band of my jeans "wanna go upstairs and have some fun before they get here?"

Giving her a sarcastic smile, I lean around her and grab the gun that was sitting on the dining table in front of me, cocking and pointing it at her "you've got four seconds to get the fuck off of me"

I watched as her face pales before she quickly scampers off of my lap, nearly tripping over her feet as she practically runs in her heels to stand next to the couch in the living room
