ONLY FRIENDS? CHAPTER 13

CHAPTER 13: Mistaken

Someone came up to their table:
LEX:"Oh my god, hi Rei"
REI:"Hello, i saw you girls here and decided to say hi. By the way I'm with my friend. We're actually drinking coffee here too."
MAE:"Oh Rei? Are you the one Lex go out with?"
REI:"Yep it's me. Oh you're Yuna right?"
YUNA:"How'd you know name? I haven't said anything."
REI:'Oh my buddy tell stories about you so yeah."
YUNA:"Your friend know me? Hm strange."
LEX:"Oh come one Yuna, we're all friends here."

But when Yuna looked at Rei's table, she saw a familiar hair.
Yuna's mind ( No that can't be him..)

YUNA:"Rei, who are you with?"
REI:"With my friend-"
LEX:"Let's just enjoy this day."

Then Yuna's mom called;

"Hey sweetie, how are you there?"
"Hi mom, we're okay."
"Oh my daughter something's wrong? You could always come back here."
"I'm fine, i wanna stay here for a bit with my friends."
"Okay , I'm just checking. Have you eaten?"
"Yup."

They talked for a few minutes and Yuna went back to talk to her friends.

YUNA:"So where were we?"
MAE:"Just drink this."
YUNA:"Oh haha, thanks."

Yuna's still looking at Rei's friend across their table. Because she can't get ove his hair. Looks like Ash's hair.

Rei saw it and said;

REI:"What's wrong with my friend Yuna?"
YUNA:"Oh nothing, who's he by the way?"
REI:"Him? There's no way you're interested in him?"
YUNA:'Just tell me."
REI:"He's Justin"
YUNA:"Oh.. i thought- nevermind."
REI:"What's the matter?"
YUNA:"Nothing."

Yuna thought that the boy is Ash, she had been waiting for him..

After their little bond the girls went home.
Feeling bumped, Yuna grabbed her notebook and starts writing again.

"I saw a boy across our table , his figure seemed familiar. More like Ash... Is Rei lying to me? Is that really Ash? Or he's not him."

She felt dizzy and decided to take a nap. Then she woke up to see her friends AGAIN, doing their make up.

YUNA:"G-girls? What's up?"
MAE:"Hello Yuna, we're just getting ready for tonight."
YUNA:"What's happening tonight?"
LEX:"Rei texted me and said that his friends threw a party and he invited us. We don't wanna wake you up so yeah."
YUNA:"sighs* Really? A party? Where is it located? I wanna come too."
MAE:"Hmmm why don't you just get ready and we'll go there together?"
LEX:"Come on Mae, we'll be late."
YUNA:"Wait for me, It'll only take a few minutes."
LEX:"Fine fine, but wear something nice tho."
YUNA:"I will."

AT REI'S PARTY:
The girls went inside Rei's house and was warmly welcomed.

REI:"Hello good evening, may you have an incredible night."
LEX:"We will. Oh and i brought Yuna too is that okay?"
REI:"Oh uhm yea- yeah of course."
MAE:"Bro what's wrong?"
REI:"Nothing i just hope that- uhm nevermind."

They're having a blast when Alia went up straight to Yuna and said;
ALIA:"Love your fit by the way."
YUNA:"Oh thanks? You're Alia right? Liam's-"
ALIA:"Sister yeah, his sister."
YUNA:'Oh you guys are siblings? Okay"
ALIA:'Yes he's actually here, well i know Rei so yeah i got invited and decided to bring him with me."
YUNA:"Okay"

Alia and Yuna got closer after that.

REI:"Here comes the drink!"
MAE:"Oh I'll have one, thankyou."
LEX:"Me too"
REI:"Okay here you go, oh how about you Yuna?"
YUNA:"I dont drink, sorry. Thanks tho"
MAE:"Don't be such a party pooper Yuna. Have one, ONLY ONE. Come one!"
LEX:"DRINK! DRINK!"
REI:"DRINK DRINK DRINK! Come on Yuna!"
ALIA:"DRINK YUNA DRINK!"

She was about to drink when someone took it away from her.
Everyone gasped.

YUNA:"Li-Liam?"
LIAM:"I know you don't drink Yuna, and guys dont pressure her if she don't want to, don't keep telling her to do it."
YUNA:"Thankyou."
MAE:'Oh come on we're just having fun."
LEX:"Yep."
LIAM:"Come on Yuna, do you want to go home?"
REI:"Careful man, we're having fun here. It's not like you're her boyfriend.."
LIAM:"So what? I'm her best friend. I want to keep her safe."
REI:"Best friend? Hm ask her yourself if you're really her best friend. Because from what i know, you just swooped in and considered yourself her best friend. But Ash's really her best friend."
LIAM:"Yu-Yuna?"
YUN:"CAN ALL OF YOU STOP?"

She shouted with anger. She went outside , far from the party. Liam followed her.

LIAM:"Yuna wait!"
YUNA:"Liam, i appreciate your kindness."
LIAM:"I'm sorry for how i reacted earlier."
YUNA:"I know your intentions. It's okay."
LIAM:"From what Rei said, how did he know Ash?"
YUNA:"Yeah... I never thought of that."
LIAM:'But are you still mad?"
YUNA:"No. Can i just go home?"
LIAM:"Sure I'll drop you off."

At Liam's car, driving;
LIAM:"Pls be honest, am i the only one thinks that we're best friends?"
YUNA:"No of course not, we're close friends, no one will never change that."
LIAM:"Sorry to ask this, but is therr anyway you used to have feelings for Ash?"
YUNA:"I can't answer that."

They went silent the whole ride. At Yuna's home;
YUNA:"Thank you for driving me home."

With a sadness in his eyes he said;
LIAM:"No problem."
