ONLY FRIENDS? CHAPTER 8

CHAPTER 8: The unsaid feelings

ASH:"Wait no Yuna! I- I like you, I really do"

Those words left Yuna standing shocked.

YUNA:"What? you do?"
ASH:'Yes i do, do you like me too?"
YUNA:"Ash i-"
JADE:"There you are, I've been looking for you. I missed your cute face."
YUNA:"What now Jade?"
JADE:" Music ON!"

Music started, and people started to gather around them and Jade has set up a music and a sign saying "Will you be my girlfriend?"

YUNA:" Uhm-"
JADE:" So what do you say Yuna, will you be my girlfriend?"

People started to cheer for them waiting for her answer. Ash remained silent and Jade noticed that.

JADE:"Oh I didn't know you're here, don't tell you confessed? Laughs* She will never like you boy now get lost."
YUNA:"Hey what was that? That's not fair."
JADE:"Forget about him, now will you be my girlfrie-"
YUNA:" NO"

People gasped as they heard Yuna's answer.

JADE:" What?! WHY I'm like the hottest boy and I'm famous."
YUNA:" I dont care, i dont like you, i really dont, you have a high standards"
JADE:" Don't tell me you rejected me for some boy like Ash?!"
YUNA:" Well i did, but I don't like nobody! Just leave me and my friends alone Jade."

After that incident, Yuna looked for Ash. But she can't find him, she tried texting him calling him, but still no response.

She's feeling so bumped until she got a text from Ash saying.

"Hey Jade's Girlfriend, I have something to tell you but u know you wouldn't care. I just want you to know that im leaving the country next week, my mom decided to switch me schools. I'm sad that we had to be like this. I missed my friend the old Yuna, the one who makes me laugh and smile. Yes i like you, but I know to you im only a friend nothing more, i just wanted to let you know how i feel and that im leaving. I'll miss you Yuna, hope we can stil see each other again. Goodbye.."

YUNA:" WHAT?! HE'S LEAVING?"

With a heavy heart she responded with;

"Ash, I'm not Jade's girlfriend i rejected him. Why will you leave? Is it because of me? Im so sorry."

Hours passed still Ash hasn't replied.

Until a week after she heard that Ash transferred schools.

Without him, it's like Yuna's gone too. Her life isn't the same anyomore. If only she said she admire Ash, he wouldn't be leaving.

Everyday after class Yuna would go home, locking herself in the bedroom and never dared to open the door. She felt so guilty that time and wished for Ash to comeback.

3 Months passed by and Yuna got a message from Ash.

"Hey Yuna, how are you? Hope you're doing okay?"
She responded with "Im okay and i hope you are too"

They didn't talked after that.

Whenever Yuna would walk outside and smelled a lovely rose, she would remember the time where she and Ash bonded. She miss Ash a lot. She's out of love, like a bird lost looking for it's home.
She wanted to ask Ash but knows that she wouldn't receive a text.

YUNA:" I'll forget about Ash , I'll never remember him again. He broke my heart, he broke my trust, he broke me."

YEAR PASSED BY:

AT SCHOOL
MAE:" Yay only 2 months before out graduation."
LEX:" YEPP IM SO EXCITED "
YUNA:" Me too"

Mae and Lex can feel the sadness in her tone. They knew that Yuna missed Ash. But they tried to not talked about him for her to move on.

MONTHS PASSED:
AT GRADUATION DAY

LEX:" Omg today is the day girls!"
YUNA:" Yesss!"
MAE:" We should celebrate after this."
GIRLS:" WE SHOULD!"

After the graduation Yuna,Mae , and Lex went to a restaurant to celebrate.

LEX:"Yum so delicious!"
YUNA:" IT DOES!"
MAE:" Im so full."

They chatted for a bit and went home.
Yuna laying in her bed thought something.
I wish-"
