Genya's P.O.V

"I feel bad. It's been a couple of months, one of our old classmates decided to transfer here so he keeps him company. By company, I mean, Slapping his head when he falls asleep.

He doesn't seem to be bothered with the surprise physical contact tho...

But here I go again.. — I feel bad. I've been getting distant to Tokito—er.. Muichiro. Gosh.

I've been more distant and i'm hating it, My circle of friends are fun to be with but it gives me less time with Muichiro. Then again, I guess it's fine."

I rambled in a hushed tone as i thought about it too. Muichiro is just getting annoying to be with. He's always sleeping while hanging out, he's always isolated, and GOSH! He's so dry! It makes me feel bad for him. He's getting annoying, yes. But I shouldn't be thinking  about him like this..

"Hey, Genya." I snapped back to reality, Muichiro was in front of me, two girls I knew were there. One, beside me and one, beside Muichiro.

"Uhm—.. uh.. Yeah?" I asked in a nervous tone, God, please spare me from this.

Muichiro smirked.

... What.

His smirk turned into a light giggle as he pointed at my mouth. Both the girls were as confused as I was. Get your cameras out, this moment has been bestowed upon us by the divine gods.

"Theres... Hahhh. Food on your.. Mouth." He manages to spell out between small giggles.

Gosh, I was mumbling on how annoying he was just a moment ago. Why does it feel so light now?

"Oh! Uh.." I said as I quickly wiped my face with my uniform sleeve.

Yes, we were now wearing proper uniforms.

Muichiro's P.O.V:

Soon, my stifled giggles were now a full on laughter attack as I took another spoonful of my food.

Genya made a joke I don't even remember the moment after he finished saying it, but I started laughing again.

Out of sheer instinct, I covered my mouth as laughter threatened to spill out more.

Why am I so happy right now?

The other two girls were laughing too, the spool was wedged into the cracks of my fingers as I tried to stifle my laughs.

As our laughter faded off, I put my hand down, but lef the spoon in my mouth. I don't really know why.

(Since this book is solely based on my real life experience,, IDK WHY I DID THAT TOO.)

Genya seemed to stare for a moment, int hat same second, I thought i also looked messy. But I didn't move at all.

Genya leaned in closer, too close for comfort as I just glanced at everything but him, uncomfortable and all.

He was now reaching from the other side of the table until—...

Genya's POV:

I reached out with my hand before pulling out the spoon from his mouth.

He looked so silly..

What the hell??

He stared at me for a moment, he looks confused.

I only smirked as I dropped his spoon back onto his lunch box.

The two girls didn't even exist in that moment, I have clearly forgotten about them.

"So, Uhmm.." One girl blurts out, only then can I perceive the My Little Ponny theme song erupting from her upright phone.

"Are you guys close?" The other girl asked with a small smile. Muichiro was back to his nonchalant demeanor, it was upsetting.

I didn't answer, I didn't really want to answer. How can I call someone a fake friend when i've called them annoying multiple times. Someone i've bullied in elementary.

Only now are we even interacting.

We kept on eating, the silence was probably deafening. Aside from apple jack talking from the other girl's phone, it was really quiet.

Too quiet.

I glanced at the girl watching MLP, she looked contented.

I looked over at the noodle-headed girl, she was chilling. Quiet—, but chilling.

And Muichiro——...

He was done eating. Now he was just staring at his neatly cleaned up lunch box.

I looked at him with concern before continuing on with my food.

Now where was I, Sweety—

I thought as I took another bite out of my sliced up pork.
