(SHIT WHY AM I FLOPPING SO BAD??)

~~~
Muichiro's POV:
"We should probably head back soon." Genya stated as he pocketed his phone.
We were just sitting on the floor, I was looking at nothingness while he watched tiktoks on his phone. He really needs to stop watching boys getting hit by a dumbbell.
"Why tho? I haven't taken it in yet." I frowned as he just sighed. "Mui, you can't take so long to take everything." I knew that, I totally did.
"Like how you're taking so long to settle in at our new high school," Genya added with a calming tone in his voice. "I know you're not the best at new people, new places, new environments, But it's almost five months."
I shook my head, "I don't have to rush." I said stubbornly. "And plus, no one's really talking to me so I can't really 'settle in'. Y'know?" I shrugged as I rested my head on the wall we were sitting against, closing my eyes to kind of feel in the new aroma and setting.
Genya stayed awfully silent, i've studied psychology and Genya's really just been my main subject. Genya's one to answer quickly and keep the conversation going, I wonder why he's being all slow to talk now..
"Have I been getting disstant from you?" He suddenly asked, to which I opened my eyes in confusion, non-chalant shock, and interest.
"I mean, sure. But that's how it should be. We can't keep close forever." I advised as I fixed my facemask.
"Same goes for you. You've been wearing a mask since forever." Genya countered. "You can't keep wearing it for eternity."
"I'll take it off once i'm ready." I shrugged.
"It's been almost five years tho.." Genya mumbled as he took out his phone once again to keep scrolling through tiktok. I noticed his feed was mainly vent videos, I wonder how that's going for him.
I've always thought vent videos were cringe and somehow untruthful.. But it makes me wonder how kids, teenagers, and adults go and vent online and not to people they actually know.
Maybe i'll try venting? How'd that work..
"Genya?" I called out, To be honest, I didn't even mean to. But if i've already called him, I wouldn't hang up.
"Yeah? What is it? Ready to get going?"
.
.
"You said I looked pretty, do you mean it?" I asked as I slightly tilted my head, i wasn't looking at him, I've always had trouble keeping eye contact. It makes me anxious.
He laughed slightly before answering, "Of course, I wouldn't lie about that." He smiled, and I found myself smiling back.
