Elizabeth: What was that?
Blue: I imagine it was meant to have the heart....
Jack races down to the deck and drops to his knees, he paws at the sand, but it was just sand.
Jack: Hello? Where's the heart?
Blue: Wait.....Norrington....he ran off with the chest....he must've took it....right?
The ship suddenly shudders and is pulled to a stop.
Elizabeth: We must have hit a reef!
Will: No, it's not a reef, get away from the rail!
Elizabeth: What is it?
Will: The Kraken
Blue: Oh Noes 0_0
Ragetti: [To Pintel] Told you
Jack stops shifting through the sand and sits up, terrified. He looks at his hand and could still see the black spot, while the Pirates race to defend the ship.
Will: To arms! Load guns, defend the masts! Boathooks to the prow, don't let it get a grip! It will attack to starboard, I've seen it before! Set cannons and hold for my signal!
Jack winced in fear, there was no heart and the black spot was on his hand. The kraken was upon them....things were not looking good at all.
Bubbles begin to swirl, churning in the water, then the Arms of the Kraken rise out of the sea, and begins its attack on the Black Pearl.
On the water, alongside the ship, Jack Sparrow was alone in the longboat. He grabs the oars and rows, for the moment unnoticed. On deck, the tentacles withdraw, and the pirates let out a victorious cry.
Will: It will be back! [Turns To Elizabeth] Get off the ship
Elizabeth: No boats!
Will looks over and saw that the boats were smashed, he knocks over a barrel and kicks it, making it roll toward the hold.
Will: Pull the grids! All the gunpowder, onto the net in the cargo hold!
The pirates scramble to comply, Will grabs a rifle and tosses it to Elizabeth, who catches it. As Blue is helping out, he looks around and wonders where his Father was.
Blue: Is he somewhere else on the ship? In the Captain's Cabin, perhaps?
Will: Whetever you do, don't miss
She registers the gun as the gunpowder is dropped into the cargo hold.
Elizabeth: As soon as you're clear!
Skinny Pirate: We're short stocked on gunpowder! Six barrels!
Gibbs: We've only half a dozen barrels of gunpowder!
Will: Then use the rum
Blue: Not the rum ;_;
The pirates hesitate and look at Gibbs, who wasn't having any of that.
Gibbs: AYE, THE RUM TOO!
Alongside the ship, the kraken regroups. It races towards the Black Pearl, while Jack was still out at sea. He rows quickly, unhappy as he looks over at the ship, he glances over his shoulder at his destinations.
Isla Cruces wasn't too far away, and he knew he could make it. A swell tosses him sideways, and the compass rolls free, Jack picks it up and opens it.
He curses at the reading and looks back at the ship to see Elizabeth dash across the deck of the ship, with the rifle in her hand.
