Blue: I have to say it, that was good. I feel motivated now
Elizabeth: Thank you, I just said what came to my head.
Blue: Well thankfully it was the right words
Elizabeth: And what does that mean, Mr Sparrow?
Blue: Nothing, Queen Elizabeth-! Oh...wow
Elizabeth: Does that make me, Queen Elizabeth the Second?
Blue: Eh, I think that might be reserved for someone else. I'll just stick to Lizzy for now
Elizabeth: Then I'll call you-
Blue: No
Elizabeth: Little Blue!
Blue: Oh bloody hell!
Elizabeth laughs, and Blue joins in on the laughter. On the deck of the Endeavour, Beckett was simply sipping some tea. Then, Officer Groves approaches.
Groves: We have a favorable wind, sir.
Beckett looks up, noticing, utterly casual.
Beckett: So we do. Signal Jones. "No quarter." That should brighten his day.
A Signalman waves flags, as seen from the Dutchman, on the upper deck, Mercer screams out.
Mercer: To arms! We will give no quarter!
The crew answers, while Davy Jones turns away. As the wind rises, he looks up into the sky, his hand moves toward his chest.
Davy Jones: Calypso....
The Clouds above begin to rotate, forming a storm disk in the sky, as lightening strikes down at sea. In the sea, a giant whirlpool begins to turn slowly, sheets of rain begin to fall.
From above, the two formations converge, the Black Pearl outpacing the pirate fleet, the Dutchman doing the same to the Armada. Between them the sea continues to swirl.
Gibbs stares at the sea with a practiced eye.
Gibbs: Maelstrom! Saints preserve us!
Elizabeth: Captain Barbossa!
Barbossa looks up, as he was contemplating his now-mortal hand.
Elizabeth: I need you at the helm.
Barbossa: Aye, that be true! Brace the yards! Set the stay sails and turn her windward!
Ships of the armada and the fleet turn away. The Black Pearl also turns, but the Flying Dutchman and the Pearl are caught.
Mercer spins the wheel of the Dutchman, trying to evade the swirling maelstrom.
Mercer: Veer off!
Davy Jones: Shall not harm us! Full-bore, and into the abyss.
Mercer: Are you mad?
Davy Jones: Hah! Are you afraid to get wet? Stand on!
Jones wrestles the wheel from Mercer, he spins the wheel, taking the Dutchman over the edge, and into the swirling Maelstrom.
The Flying Dutchman uses the inner, faster moving water to cut in behind the Black Pearl, and Will spots the Dutchman's strategy.
Will: She's on our stern and gaining!
Barbossa: More speed! Angle yard to port!
The Dutchman lays in behind the Black Pearl.
Davy Jones: Bow cannons, Fire!
The forward cannons of the Dutchman fire, hitting the Black Pearl from behind. Cannon balls fly at them from the stern, one of them taking off a steering wheel pin.
