Meanwhile, Finn and Rose were attempting to escape when they encountered Plasma, who labeled Finn a "traitor." In response, BB-8 initiated defensive fire against Plasma to provide cover for Finn and Rose. As Rose sought shelter, Finn engaged Plasma in combat. Plasma overpowered Finn, prompting Rose to exclaim in distress.
She quickly took cover again, while Finn retaliated by delivering a powerful blow to Plasma's face. Ultimately, Finn, Rose, and BB-8 managed to evade capture from the dreadnought and proceeded to search for their team.
