Chapter 20~ Talent show

Jordan's POV

Today was the talent show. After a few days of writing down my song that I created, putting together the music, and practicing on the lyrics, I was ready to go.

I was wearing a nice suit for the talent show. I wore a green tie to top it off.

My mom and I were walking to the school.

"I can't wait to hear you sing!" Mom said for the fifth time already.

"Yes, I know. I'm really nervous though." I said. "Don't be nervous. There probably won't be a lot of people there. Just your friends and their parents." She said.

"They don't have parents." I said quietly. We walked in silence the rest of the way towards school.

When we reached the school, I saw Sonja and Autumn talking to each other. I walked over to them.

Sonja was wearing an orange sundress, with her hair pulled back into a right bun.

"You like my donut?" Sonja asked.

"Your what?" I asked confused. "It's her bun." Autumn said. I nodded.

"I like your suit. You and Tom are going to be matching!" Sonja said, clapping her hands together.

"Okay well I'm going to go inside." Mom said. I waved goodbye to her.

"All the talent show peoples need to stay out here." Sonja said.

"The people who are performing?" I asked. Autumn nodded. "She talks a little crazy when she's nervous." Autumn said.

"I'm not nervous!" Sonja said.

"I heard you say to Tucker and Tom that you feel like your going to be sick!" Autumn said.

"Tucker and Tom is here?" I asked.

"Yeah, they're inside." Sonja said. I nodded. I looked over and saw Josh and Tony walking this way.

"Hey guys." I said to them.

"Hey. Are you preforming in the talent show?" Tony asked. I nodded. "I'm singing. What are you two going to do?" I asked.

"You'll see. We've been working all week on it, and we got a bit of Tom's help." Josh said. Tom's help? Maybe that's why he left to go talk to the two so he could help them.

"Who's all inside the school?" I asked. Sonja told me everyone who was in there. Everyone I know is in there. That made me even more nervous.

After a few minutes, Matt stepped out of the school and walked over to us.

"This is the order that it's going to go: Jordan, Sonja, then the Modesteps." Matt said.

Of course I go first.

"Everyone come with me. I will take you to the preforming room." Matt said. We all followed him to the room.

When we got there, we went backstage. This place was absolutely huge. I was already getting more and more nervous.

"Okay Jordan. Your up when Phil calls you." Matt said. He ran off somewhere.

Deep breaths, Jordan. Deep breaths.

I heard clapping, then Phil talk into a microphone.

"For our first performance, Jordan Sparklez will be singing an original song of his, Find The Pieces!" Phil said.

The clapping came back. It's my time to shine I guess. I walked out on the stage. There were lights blocking my view to see the other people, so that calmed me a bit. My heart was racing though.
