Scary

So tomorrow is one week of H and watermelon dating :(

She was complaining all day that she wanted his sweatshirt, but he didn't give it to her.

They literally didn't talk at all, and he talked to me a lot.

I'm pretty sure that he might also be dating H bc I a couple days before he asked her out, he said that his aunt wanted him to date someone bc "it would be good for him". So idkkkk

But he talked to me a fair amount, but things are different between us now, and I'm trying not to talk to him too much bc he's dating her.

In gym, we played big base kickball, and he was teasing me when I kicked the ball  and it hit the ceiling, and then someone caught it. Even though it literally just happened to him.

But they had their last basketball game of the season, and he was allowed to play.

Butttttttttt he jammed his finger, and he had to get it checked out. His hand was all puffy, red, and swollen, so he went to the doctor.

He came back during 6th hour, and I didn't get to ask him what happened.

When I saw him in the hallway, I just asked if he was ok. He said, "I'm fine, I'm not gonna die. Jeeze (my name)!" Then he winked and waved as he walked backward towards his class.

Later, at the basketball game, his aunt and uncle came and got him earlier. idk why. He wasn't playing, but he was watching the game.

I was going to the bathroom, and when I came back, they were walking in the hallway.

I always smile at strangers or even people I know when I see them, so I smiled at his aunt.

Apparently, she recognized me, and she smiled back. Then she said, "Hey, you're the lady that asked about (watermelon's name), right? You got to CSM?"

I just blushed and nodded.

"Sorry, but what's your name again?" He asked me and I told her my name.

She continued and said, "I'm glad that Codie has such a caring friend. A very pretty one, too!"

I somehow blushed even harder, and even Watermelon had a pink hint to his face."Thanks," I answered her.

Then watermelon said, "She's also really smart! She's in advanced math and probably gonna be in advanced literacy. She honestly is the smartest person in our grade."

I bet my face was bright red, and I was literally gonna die. "You're exaggerating (his name), I'm not that smart! You are smart too! You are in advanced literacy and really good at tech!"

His aunt and uncle just had these amused expressions on their faces.

He rolled his eyes and said, "Just take the compliment. You don't have to be nice all the time."

I just sighed and said, "Fine, thank you so much for your over exaggerated compliment that you gave me!" In a sarcastic voice.

I smirked and said, "Happy?"

He answered, "Very!" Then looked at his aunt and uncle and said,"She's also very sassy."

I crossed my arms and said, "Rude!!!!"

All of us laughed, and his aunt and uncle shared a look (like, could they be any more secretive?).

"Well, it was nice talking to you, but we have to get going." His aunt said.

"Oh, ok. It was nice seeing you again and talking! Have a great night and Thanksgiving!" I replied

"Thank you (my name). You have a great one!" His uncle responded to me.

"Bye (my name)," Watermelon said to me and waved.

I waved back and said, "Bye (his name). See you next week!"

I'm pretty sure I was a tomato the whole conversation though, lol.

I have to wait 5 days to see him though bc of Thanksgiving break :(((

Like I can't go that longggggg
