Chapter 5 - Changes
I was done fixing my hair and I went downstairs with my pink volleyball since they said I'd bring one. I walked to the beach and I spotted them a couple of feet away. "Heyyy!" I threw the ball at Seth.
"Hi!" Seth smirked. "The name's Seth" he winked.
"What the fuck?" I laughed. "Seth what are you on drugs?" I giggled.
"You look very familiar" Luke looked at me.
"You look like the girl we saw yesterday at the-"
"What are you guys talking about?" I laughed.
"Blake come look she looks like that girl!" Luke called out. Now I'm nervous.
"What? Oh! Hello" Blake smiled shyly.
"Hello?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"umm... do you wanna play volleyball with us? Well you look like you're ready" he chuckled shyly and scratched his head. I wanted to laugh so bad but I just held it in.
"Ohh sure?" I played along. I might suck at lying, but I rule at acting. I can't believe they don't even recognize me.
"Cool! Well our buddy isn't even here yet" Blake said shyly. Why is he so shy?
"Oh you were waiting for a friend?" I kept playing along"
"Yeah.. Gabi, She's still not here" Blake rubbed the back of his neck.
"Oh okay. I guess we'll just play?" I smiled.
"Yeah.." he sounded nervous.
"So which team?" I asked.
"with me!" They whole group said including Blake.
"Trust me be on my team we'll win" Blake smirked. But it was true though. Blake is really good.
"Okay? I guess?" I said shyly, well pretended.
"Cute. You have a pink ball" Blake looked at me sweetly.
Okay I have to stop! I shaked my head trying not to think about it. We played the game for around 10 minutes and we got 8 points while they got 3. We took a break.
"Damn you're good" Seth panted putting his hands on his knees.
"Talent?" I chuckled.
"Yeah you are. What the fuck ia Gabi not going to show up?" Blake sighed irritated.
"You're really stupid" I laughed.
"Huh? I'm going to call her. I can't believe she didn't show up" he sighed. And now I have a big smirk on my lips. I heard my phone ring and he furrowed his eyebrows.
"Are you gonna take that?" Blake looked confused.
"Okay" I held my laughter.
"Hello?" I smirked. Blake'a eyes went wide.
"Hello? Gabi?" Blake furrowed his eyebrows and everyone looked at me. They were shocked.
"Hello Blake?" I smirked.
"Umm did you steal my best friend's phone?" Blake hung up and raised his eyebrow.
