Vinny's POV

Here it comes. I hope she likes it. It was hella expensive but whatever. I want to spend money on her. I've never felt the way I have with her about anyone.
I looked at her with anticipation as she opened the box.
"Oh, my god, Vinny. What is this?" She asked me, staring at her present.
"It's the Canon 6D. Ashley Osborn is using it on Warped Tour this summer. I remembered you wanted to be a music photographer and I thought it'd be one step closer to your dream." I said shyly, confused as to how she felt about the present.
"I-I love it. It's perfect! Thank you so much Vinny. I could kiss you right now!" She said excitedly.
I raised an eyebrow, she wants to kiss me? Well, if you insist.
I leaned closer to Gisella and whispered, "Wanna get out of here? I know a good place to go."
She stared in shock, "No! I barely even know you! I'm not going to have sex with you!"
"No, we were not going to have sex. I just thought maybe you'd like to go on a date. Not one that's timed."
Her look turned from surprise to happy, "I'd love to go. Sorry, I just get asked that a lot."
I laughed, stood up and grabbed her hand, electricity shot up my arm and gave me goosebumps underneath my hoodie.
"Come on, I got a hella cool place for us to go. Think you car can keep up with my mine?" I asked as I pulled her out of the Starbucks.
"Probably not. Guess I'll ride with you. If that's no trouble," She replied.
I opened the passenger door of my car for Gisella and she slid in with grace. She was absolutely stunning. The way her purple and black hair shined in the sun made her look angelic almost. And her face was just-
"Are you gonna show me this awesome spot or are you going to stare at me all day? It's getting kinda weird Vincenzo." I snapped out of my haze and closed the door with a smile on my face. How can she be so stunning and such a sassy ass at the same time? Whatever she's doing is getting to me.
"Alright, are you buckled?" I asked her, closing my own door.
"Yeah, but you aren't." She replied, poking my arm. I laughed and put my seat belt on.

As we drove, we talked about our favorite movies, songs, bands, we talked about my band Empyreal and how we were thinking about making an actual album.
"That'd be neat! I would listen to it." She said while playing with her hair.
"Really cause I was thi-"
CRASH
A car suddenly stopped on the road. I slammed on the brakes and threw my right hand out to the passenger side of the car to catch Gisella. Her upper body shot forward and collided with my arm, and then flung backwards with the car. My head had slammed onto the steering wheel and I had a huge throbbing in my head. I put my own pain aside and tended to Gisella.
"Are you okay, Gisella? Are you hurt? Did something hurt you?" I repeatedly asked her, my voice filled with concern.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just got caught off-guard. Are you okay? You're head is bleeding. We need to get you to a doctor or something." She said, holding my head and examining it. She had such soft hands. I love soft hands.
"Nah, I'm fine," I shook my head while it was still in her hands. I looked at her big brown eyes and then at her perfectly shapen lips. How is she making me feel this way? I've only known her for a day.
She looked at me with confusion in her eyes. I framed her face with my own hands and leaned her face closer to mine.
Beep beeeeeep
A car behind us honked their horn and shook us out of our daze. Gisella laughed and leaned back in her seat while I put the car in gear and we drove around the car accident in front of us and we continued on our way to Roosevelt Park.
"So where are we going? We've been driving for at least two hours. When are you going to tell me where we are going?" She asked, quite perturbed.
"We will get there when we get there. Don't worry, sweetie." Oh my god did I just call her sweetie? Oh no. This isn't good.
There was a long silence in the car until we saw the sign for Roosevelt Park.
"This is where you are taking me?" She asked.
"Yeah, is this not a good place 'cause I can turn around if you want. No big deal." I reassured her.
"No, I love it. I've never actually been here before."
I breathed a sigh of relief and got out of the car. I jogged over to the passenger door where Gisella was already trying to get out.
"No, when you're with me, you don't have to open your door. Let me."
"Oh, so you're saying that I'm going to be with you more than just today?" She raised an eyebrow at me. I laughed and continued to help her out of the car.
We walked down a trail until we found this stunning little pond with fish and two swans. We sat down on one of the banks and talked about even more stuff. It was so easy talking to her. I had such an easy feeling around her, but I had butterflies as well. Or it could have been the Jimmy John's I had last night.
"I want to know something, Vinny." Gisella said, staring out at the pond.
"Sure, go ahead. Ask me anything." I replied. Oh god what is she going to ask? I'd she gonna ask about what happened in the car? Or if I'm a virgin. OH NO.
"Did the thing in the car- was that- was that going to happen for real? I mean, not to sound weird or anything but I-"
"Yes. I was really thinking about kissing you. I have since I saw you last night. Apparently I have the game of a three inch broom." I cut her off. I sighed and looked at her.
She got on her knees and moved in front of me. I like where this is going.
"Listen. I like you. I really do, and if you aren't going to do anything, I guess I have to take matters into my own hands." She declared with a mischievous grin.
