We Only Come Out At Night

Chapter 13

Vinny's POV

I woke up to see Gisella and a nurse crouched over me. Gisella was slapping my face quite hard and I guess she was trying to wake me up. After she realized that I was awake, she started to playfully slap me. I will admit I was getting turned on but that's beside the point.

"Hey, Vin. You might wanna get up and see this alien thing." Gi said, giggling as I rubbed my hand across my face.
"I'll get you later for this if you know what I mean." I replied, giving her a dirty look.
She giggled and stood up. Then, she walked over to the hospital bed with her sister and her new addition to her family.
"Wanna meet my niece?" Gisella asked me, cradling a green blanket.
I slowly stood up with the help of the nurse and he patted me on the back. I walked over to Gisella and looked at her niece. To be honest, babies looked like aliens and this one was no different. She had almost a full head of hair and little eyes. This alien was kinda cute.
"What's her name?" Gisella asked her sister.
"Devin. Devin Wilson." She replied.
"Hey, that's the name of one of the guys in my band." I chuckled.
"Oh yeah, Gisella told me about your band. Are you excited?" Mona, Gisella's sister, asked.
Gi gently put Devin in my arms and I could see Mona's facial features very apparent in Devin's face.
"Yeah, we've got some cool stuff happening soon and it's gonna be dope." I started to get excited. This was a band in a part of me. I was a part of a band. Life is pretty good.
