Y/n: "Why did you read the laugh like that-"

Shadow: "I'll read it however I want."

Sonic: "Oh, you want us to draw something. Well, that's perfect for the podcast medium. Alright, here it goes-here's a paper and pencil, let's see, drawing Shadow first...ah well, he's gotta be running, that's easy. With an intense look on his face. Kinda a contrived intense look, but how else do you capture the Ultimate Life Form?"

Y/n: "Alright let's see, drawing Sonic and Shadow. Should be simple..."

Shadow: "Mm...I don't know why you'd want me to draw anything, but...I'll just put down some blue spikes and uh- cocky grin for Sonic."

Sonic: "That's it? My spikes are legendary. Make me look cooler! Oh-and with a cool background like a winding racetrack or the horizon. Something flashy!"

Shadow: "I don't need your input, Sonic. It's a portrait, not a race. I'll make sure it's...accurate. As for Y/n, hm...if I just add this here and some pretty eyes there..."

Sonic: "Y/n your hair kinda looks like this, and then I just-yeah, that looks right."

Y/n: "Why are y'all's spikes so hard to draw?!"

Sonic: "Alright and done! Ok, we'll each show each other on the count of three. Ready? One, two, three! . . . Yeah let's- let's never hold pencils ever again."

Shadow: "Agreed."

Y/n: "Yeah, this...let's not bring this up again."

Sonic: "Question from RingTailVa: 'Hey Shadow, growing up on the ARK, what was your what was your favorite game to play with Maria when you had the time?"

Shadow: "Maria and I didn't really play games. We spent most of our time talking, reading or training. I didn't have much time for games on the ARK."

Sonic: "Oh come on, Shadow. You're telling me you didn't play anything with Maria? Not even one game of Sonic Shuffle? I mean that's a missed opportunity."

Y/n: "Out of all the time you spent together, Maria never got you to play a game?"

Shadow: "Fine. If you must know, there was one game we used to play. A game of strategy-chess. Professor Gerald taught me, and I'd play with Maria."

Y/n: "Aw, that's actually pretty sweet."

Sonic: "Oh? Shadow, the Ultimate Life Form, enjoys a game of wit and strategy?"

Shadow: "Chess requires focus and precision, Sonic. Traits you could learn to appreciate."

Sonic: "Hey, you don't know, I could be a chess master!"

Y/n: "Sonic, with all due respect, I don't think you'd have the patience for it."

Sonic: "Hey, I can be patient!"

Y/n and Shadow: ". . .no you can't."

Shadow: "You don't even know the rules of chess, Sonic. And don't expect me to teach you. You'd probably lose on purpose just to annoy me."

Sonic: "Hey, I'm just good at playing the game myyyyy wayyyyy~!

Shadow: "Oh you're exhausting, you know that?"
