Lily's head was on Oscuro's lap while she was sleeping. Oscuro couldn't sleep his heart was hurt first from Sofia then from Lily. He couldn't bear it all and drank a lot of water to calm himself down. His eyes were teary but he didn't let any of them fall. He could clearly remember the day Sofia was crying holding his arm for protection and now she just simply said they are strangers. How could he mess up this big?
Tomorrow was Sunday all he wanted was to avoid people at all costs and stay with Lily. Just as he was Lily's safe place she was his safe place as well. He doesn't know how he will be able to see Sofia on Monday. He sighed and looked at the person's head on his lap. He creased her hair trying to relax her.
He saw Sofia yesterday on the roof top when he went there to get Lily back. She was okay. They met in the morning and she was okay. He couldn't get her out of his mind. Did he just get his first heart break. He kept sitting there not knowing what to do.
"Oscuro?" Lily's voice jolted him awake.
"Hey." He spoke and smiled but his smile was melancholic.
"You stayed up? Why?" She asked after getting up sitting next to him.
"I don't know." He replied honestly.
"What's wrong? Oscuro told me the truth about what happened. You and Sofia came together right. You went anywhere together?" Lily asked holding his cheek lovingly.
"Yeah. We went to the cafe along the road." He replied with a bittersweet smile.
"Why am I feeling something's up." She wasn't satisfied with this behavior.
"It was okay. Eye opening actually. It's just I don't know what's happening. Everything is messed up. I am just too tired to do anything." He explained his messed up thoughts and closed his eyes resting his head on the head board.
"I don't understand. But I am here with you. Tell me anything that happens I will help you with it. Both Sofia and you are too precious to me. She wanted to thank you for your help that day."
"Please Lily I hate this word. I really do. Leave it. Tell me what happened yesterday." He asked and sat straight.
"What happened yesterday doesn't matter if you have been awake for 30 hours now. Shut up and go take a shower. I will prepare breakfast. Go shu shu." Lily walked down stairs to make herself and Oscuro something to eat.
After 30 minutes they both laid down on Lily's bed in silence a comforting gloomy silence.
"Wanna talk about that now?" Oscuro asked looking at the ceiling.
"Yeah." Lily responded turning towards him.
"She was mad at me for being late. Also she wanted me to wear high heels." Lily replied concisely.
"That's dumb." He responded.
"It is what it is." She replied looking at his side profile.
"You two fought?" Lily was persistent to know what had actually happened between them.
"She said we are strangers. Who knows a few harmless details about each other's lives." He replied with an expressionless face.
"She is too much guarded. Don't worry." Lily replied laying on her back.
"Let's sleep." He responded and turned his back towards Lily.
She knew he craved some isolation at this time and she let him be.Sofia was staring nowhere. Her eyes were empty. All the events that happened yesterday were too heavy for her. She felt bile reaching her throat. She ran towards the bathroom. Leaning onto the sink she tried a lot but both came out of her. He starved herself yesterday except for a red velvet cupcake she ate nothing at all. What could possibly come out. She was breathing heavily. Her loose T-shirt and sweat pants were moist with her sweat.
Her hair was tied in a bun. She started to cough and spit blood. Her throat was injured by the times she had tried to vomit since the moment she woke up.
She washed her face and went back to her bed. She was missing Ana ironically enough only 3 days with her were enough for Sofia to miss her so badly.
She stood up from the bed and walked towards her comfort spot, her window.
The sun was shining on the sky brightly. She kept looking at the trees and birds. She was feeling a little calm. She knew what to do. So she stood up and walked towards the stairs. After a moment she was standing on the roof top staring nowhere in particular. Her heart was heavy. She didn't know why she was feeling this. Her left eyes shed a lone tear.
"Sofia!!" Sofia spun around swiftly and enveloped Lily in a tight embrace.
"Babe?!" Lily asked but she could sense how much Sofia wanted this. She immediately hugged her back and creased her back.
"It's okay. It will be fine." Lily hugged her tightly.
"My heart is so heavy Lily. I feel like a sinner." Sofia mumbled.
"It's okay. You are just overwhelmed. You will be fine. Trust me. I am here." Lily comforted Sofia holding her tight.
"You wanna cry?"
"No."
"You want me to do something?"
"No. Just stay!" Sofia replied placing her head on her shoulder.
After a moment she left Lily.
Sofia could clearly see how tense Lily was. She smiled a little. She felt better.
"Are you feeling better?" Lily asked sliding her hair strands behind her ear.
"Yeah. Thanks." Sofia smiled and nodded.
"Have you eaten anything?" Lily coaxed.
"Not yet."
"Why? Let's go and eat Annie's yummy food. I'm craving it." Lily pulled Sofia behind her and walked towards her room.
"Call Annie!" She whine.
"Okay. Annie!" Sofia called her who came within a few seconds.
"Younger madam you called." Annie asked after knocking on the door.
"Annie sweetheart can you make us delicious pasta??" Lily asked sweetly.
"As you wish mam." She rushed outside closing the door behind her.
"Lily what happened to your lip?" Sofia looked at her lip clearly.
"Oh it's nothing a bug may be." Lily fake smiled and switched on the TV.
"Let's watch a movie." Lily chirped and snuggled in the bed.
