ALICE POV
Sinking into bliss, my body fading with the ocean itself. The currents tugged my soul, in attempt to seek what I truely felt. The dark abyss drawing me in, like a promise to never let whatever resurface.
It didn't matter anymore, nothing mattered anymore. My body was nothing, just a burden— an anchor in these trenches. The light above seemed so pointless, I had stopped reaching.
The water was cold, a tingling coldness along my scars, digging deeper into my flesh through the opened wounds I continuously bothered.
I didn't want this to happen, I don't know how it was happening. The coldness was unbearable, my blood a mere tease of my past as it fluttered upward in 'graceful' currents. Maybe it was proof I was still me, proof I could feel something—
but i'd never know.
What once used to comfort me, made me shrivel up. The coldness like a burning AC, it reminded me back of the real world, of english class.
I always caught myself thinking how life was back in the other world, if anyone missed me. I feel like my parents would, or if my teachers would be worried. I could care less on them though,
I'd only for Elara's and Zack's feelings.
Though, I had left them aswell.
Willingly.

A loud gasp escaped my mouth, my body jolting upward abruptly in a escape. My vis was blurry, everything seemingly distant.
I narrowed my eyes and looked straight ahead, my eyes trying to adjust. In the distance I could see a dark blue, curiosity consuming me.
Weakly, I pressed my weak frail hands against the ground and attempted to make a stand. It felt like I was sinking the more I pushed, frustrating.
I struggled. My flesh felt foreign, my muscles like mush. With a wrong turn, I was met with a sharp pain slicing through my head. I shriveled down and my hands to ran up into my hair, gripping my head to stop the pulsation.
It was banging against my skull, the world around shaking with each pulse. I wanted to scream but moving my lips seemed impossible, this pain had consumed my entire body.
It didn't calm down, even as I begged silently for it to stop. My brain dismissed my thoughts, for it was just as confused as me.
I peered ahead of me , holding myself upward with trembling hands. My vision cleared, the bright blue wall was now shifting into a more clear glassy kind.
The silence grew unbearable as my thoughts couldn't make what this was. Painful buzzing of agony only to be broken by the echoing droplets of the water.
The longer I stared, the longer I remained— the more I could feel that uncomfortable coldness slowly creep up my body. It started at my feet, so cold they could fall off— then worked its way up my arms, leaving goosebumps as its trail.
I shivered and let out a shaky breath, the warmth of my air coming out in faint clouds.
Where am I?
"I see you woke up, I was worried that ability of yours was too strong for someone frail like you."
I could feel my heart jolt faster than I could widen my eyes, darting them around the room searching for that familiar voice— Lumi.
I pulled my body upwards to stand straight, that look of shock and panic now replacing with annoyance and determination to figure out just where the hell she was.
