The night is deep, the world so still,

A silence sharp and wide,

Where shadows stretch like whispered ghosts,

And dreams in silence hide.

I walk a path with fleeting steps,

The ground unknown, unseen,

Yet faintly in the dark, I hear

The echoes of where I've been.

The voices rise, then fade away,

A soft and fleeting song,

Reminders of the ties I've lost,

And all I've searched for long.

Each echo holds a memory's weight,

A tether to my past,

Yet through the dark, I yearn for more—

A light that's meant to last.

The quiet hums its somber tune,

A hymn of space and time,

But even here, in shadowed depths,

A spark begins to climb.

For echoes can't replace the glow

Of hearts that truly see,

And in the dark, I seek a voice

That answers back to me.
