The moon ascends in quiet grace,
Its glow a gentle hue,
A silver thread that weaves the night,
And draws my thoughts anew.
Its light caresses shadowed lands,
A calm and steady gleam,
Unveiling truths I dare not speak,
Or dream within a dream.
It listens to my silent fears,
My hopes that rise and fall,
A witness to the wars I wage,
Yet never speaks at all.
Beneath its gaze, the world is still,
Its secrets softly shown,
And in the hush, I find myself,
No longer all alone.
Oh, let the moonlight linger here,
A balm for restless souls,
To guide the heart through storms within,
And mend the broken whole.
For though the sun ignites the day,
And casts the dark aside,
The moonlight whispers tender truths,
That even stars can't hide.
