Trial Intermission

MonoYang: "Wow, this is really starting to heat up! I wonder who will win. The blackened, or the spotless. I'm cheering for the blackened!"

MonoYin: "...You do realize that if they win, that will happen right?"

MonoYang: "..."

MonoYang: "...I guess if the spotless won it wouldn't be that bad-"

MonoYin: Snickers

MonoYang: "Hey!"

MonoYin: "Sorry."

MonoYang: "Whatever, anyway, I guess we should do the intermission or something."

MonoYin: "...You do realize that we have been doing the intermission this entire time right?"

MonoYang: "Wait, we have?! What do you mean we have!?"

MonoYin: "Do you not see the camera?"

MonoYang: "Well yeah but I thought that they'd- I don't know, tell us that we had started!"

MonoYin: "Um, they did, you had talked over them."

MonoYang: "Jesus christ," Exasperated sigh "Whatever, uh, don't we have a script for this?"

MonoYin: "Yep, here you go."

MonoYang: "Thanks, ahem, Hello guys, gals and non-binary pals and everyone in-between and good morning, afternoon or night depending on where you are,"

MonoYin: "And we are here with your Chapter 1 Trial Intermission!"

MonoYang: "Well MonoYin, this certainly is getting heated, I wonder who will win?"

MonoYin: "I hope it's the spotless, although I can't bear to imagine the punishment the loser of the trial will face."

MonoYang: "Either way you're going to have to see a punishment, regardless of who wins."

MonoYin: "Anyway, who do you think is the culprit?"

MonoYang: Quietly "Are you asking me?"

MonoYin: Quietly "No, I'm asking the audience."

MonoYang: "Oh, ok, ahem, I would say my answer but I already know who did it."

MonoYin: "Yeah, that'd be bad if you spoiled it for everyone."

MonoYang: "Well of course I wouldn't, I'm not Koki-"
