(Author's Note: This is the last part I started writing before I decided to restart the story, hence why it ends so abruptly.)

Melodia: "Um, hey, let's switch from the topic of the culprit and let's go to something else."

Bella: "Why though? We know it's Exa."

Melodia: "But we still don't know everything about the case, though... Plus, I still have a hard time believing that one of our friends would kill someone."

Tikei: "Y-yeah, Exa would never kill someone..."

Bella: "...Fine, what shall we discuss?"

Irani: "Maybe how the crime was committed?"

Bella: "I mean I guess that'd be good to know but we're going to reach the same conclusion anyway."

Exa: "..."

Hioshi: "Why are you soooo insistent that it's Exa anyway? It's kinda suspicious you know."

Bella: "Suspicious? I don't think so. Do you remember who found the body first? Do you remember what happened right before I found the body? I'm not the killer, that's set in stone."

Hioshi: "But what if you're covering for someone?"

Bella: "Seriously?"

Hioshi: "Hey, don't brush me off like that! You could be covering for someone!"

Bella: "I guess now would be a good time to ask, MonoWhatevers, if one of us were to work with one another, what would happen?"

MonoYang: "The person who dealt the final blow is the only one that matters! You could plan and entire murder and beat someone to an inch of their life, but if someone else punches them in the face before they die, that person who punched them is the culprit and the one who will experience the punishment or lack thereof."

MonoYin: "I-in a nutshell, accomplices have no benefits for now. We might have a motive that changes that though..."

Bella: "Thank you for the info." I turned to look back at Hioshi. "So, what do you have to say to that?"

Hioshi: "Uh... What if you didn't know about the rule?"

Bella: "Hioshi, let's be honest, that's dumb."

Hioshi: "What?!"

Bella: "Do you really think that from the moment I was asked to help to the moment I did whatever you think I helped with, which you also haven't specified, I never once thought to ask what would happen if the actual killer got away with this?"

Hioshi: "Well..."

Bella: "And besides, there's a much larger hole in your reasoning anyway."

Rex: "And what would that be?"

Bella: "Do you remember who was in the Body Discovery Announcement?"

Rex: "Yeah, what about it?"

Bella: "I was the second person behind Irani to find the body. Since the killer doesn't count for the announcement, how would they have seen Charly before I did?"
