Dandy's World Stuff (Mostly One-Shots) (Hiatus)

Hey guys! Doing something new!

This is the AU that appeared in the last fanfic in my 10k reads celebration! It started off as me Maladaptive daydreaming silly stuff to fall asleep but now it's an AU bonk

Also please suggest better names I don't like this one.

Also also I'm horrible at formatting and explaining AUs so forgive me

Anyways into the actual AU.

Pretty much, Delilah (One of the creators of Dandy's World In-Universe) was the one who started the Ichor Situation.

I don't have exact motives for why she did it yet. Probably wanted Power idk.

But obviously she wanted to cover her tracks. So she framed Dandy.

Rodger found the proof and also thought it was Dandy. So he told all the Toons.

Pretty much every single Toon turned on him. Making Dandy completely shunned from the other Toons.

The only Toon who would talk to him was Poppy. Who secretly knew Dandy was Innocent but didn't say anything since she couldn't prove it.

She had overheard Delilah discussing her plan over the phone.

And also Shelly because she'd interact with pretty much anyone if they'd let her (ignored critter)

Astro and Dandy had been dating since they were 18. (They were both 25 when the Ichor situation started) But shortly after Rodgers accusation Astro left him. He later started dating Vee (Moonvision my beloved)

Anyways for a while this was sort of it. Dandy was only really friends with Poppy and Shelly for a long time.

He had tried desperately to keep Pebble. But the other Toons kept taking him "for his safety" and Pebble kept getting away from Dandy. So he gave up and let Toodles keep him.

This next section is kinda optional? In some fics (If I write more abt this au) this next part either hasn't happened yet or just didn't at all.

Around 10 years after Gardenview closed, and about 9 years since Dandy got Shunned, Arthur suddenly came back. And not only rebooted the show but revealed the truth.

The other Toons were shocked and pretty horrified.

Especially Rodger, who just realized he got a man shunned for 9 years.

And Astro who realized he left his boyfriend 7 years over something he didn't do.

Dandy pretty much just screamed "I FUCKING TOLD YOU SO"

Random other fun AU facts for you all to enjoy:

Dandy tricked Poppy into signing Adoption Papers (He just printed them out lol) making them siblings (She told him afterwards he could've asked)

Before the show Reboot Dandy was a dysfunctional alcoholic. Afterwards he became a semi-functional alcoholic. (He breaks into gas stations to steal booze)

I haven't decided if Vee x Shelly x Astro x Dandy is gonna be canon or Plantcake. So uuh. Go ahead and lmk which y'all think would be cooler

Rodger and Astro both suffer from horrible guilt over what happened. Dandy only feels as though Rodger deserves it.
