"I can't believe I'm even going through with this shit." I whispered to myself as I finished picking my fade out.

After all shayla put me through. The lies, the time and effort I put into her, to only know I was being played with. Do you know how that shit makes me look? Dumb as hell.

I sighed and walked out of my bathroom, grabbing my phone off of my dresser.

I unlocked my phone and opened my kik app, tapping on shay. "I'm on my way."

I locked my phone back and jogged down the stairs.

Like the usual, moms was in the kitchen cooking. "Hey ma." I smiled, leaning on the counter beside her.

"What are you all dressed up for?" She frowned looking at my attire.

"This?" I rose my eyebrows. "You call skinny jeans and a white T dressed up?"

"Yes I do. If it's not basketball shorts or sweatpants, indicating that that's all you wear."

I chuckled. "I'm trying to hit up Starbucks. Can I use your car real quick?"

"Trevor no boy. I don't need you using up all my damn gas."

"Ma I'll put some gas in the tank. Come on please."

She sighed, stirring the ground beef that was on the skillet. "Go on."

Without hesitation I grabbed the car keys off of the key rack and jogged out of the house.

I headed over to my moms Nissan and hopped in, cranking that bitch up and rolled out of the driveway.

I pulled up into Starbucks parking lot and parked in the handicapped section.

I sat in the car for a few seconds. I was actually about to talk to the girl that played the shit out of me. How stupid was I to even think shit was real over a fucking messaging app.

I shook my head and turned the car motor off.

Getting out of the car, I walked up to the entrance and stepped in.

I instantly saw Shay sitting at a table alone with a cup of coffee.

She noticed me right away and she awkwardly smiled.

"Hey.." She said lowly as I took a seat in front of her.

"What's good."

She pulled a piece of loose hair behind her ear.

There was an uncomfortable silence for a moment.

She cleared her throat. "I'm sorry Trevor.."

"Sorry doesn't give me back the years I wasted with you."

"I know and I apologize. I just-"

"Why did you do It?" I quickly cut her off, giving her a serious look. "Huh shay? MILLER."
I put emphasis on her last name, indicating that she had lied about it.
I wasn't about to take her pitty if that's what she was expecting me to do.
