We landed and we got picked up by our step dad and I didn't talk to him neither did Andrew🍁, we eventually make it to our new home and it's actually pretty nice and we get our stuff and mom tells us were we going to be sleeping and I got my room So I was ok.

Once I was settled in i sit on my bed thinking about everything and i just lay there drowning in my head.

Then i hear mom call out and i head to the kitchen with drew🍁 and sit down.

Mom: Soo how do you kids like the place, you settle in fine?

Yeah we're ok

Step dad: Soo you guys hungry

Andrew🍁: were ok

This was making me very uncomfortable and the silence wasn't helping at all.
I was fiddling with my fingers nervously i didn't like the way he was looking at me and my brother it was making me sick.

Mom: Soo uh we have to talk about the rules but first this is Anthony

Oh it- he has a name great, Anthony the weird step dad.

Andrew🍁: nice to meet you Anthony🧐

Yeah nice to meet you I say with a slight fake smile
But I'm sure he say right through it.

Time skip

I'm in my room listening to music while drawing
This was calming me until someone nocked on my door so I get up and open it it's that stupid freak

What?

Anthony: hey kiddo just wondering what you're doing I want to get to know you better you know.

Uh yeah

Anthony: you like drawing? He said pointing at my sketching book which was open

Yeah i like drawing why?

Anthony: just curious you know.

Yeah

Anthony: i think you're mom left with drew🍁 for groceries, wanna watch something with me in the living room?.

Uh i guess why didn't i just say no I'm such a people pleaser i think to myself

Anthony: ok I'll be waiting for you in the living room.

I put my stuff away and think.

Ok he's a doberman he can easily overpower me Soo I'll just keep an eye on him just in case geez I'm very insecure i think to myself.

I quickly changed in to a big shirt and some comfy pants i liked to hide my frame and i walk to the living room were Anthony is sitting there shirtless and in some shorts and watching TV Soo i sit on the other side of the couch watching silently.

I don't feel comfortable at all, my tail was nervously wrapped around my leg.

Anthony: So uh you like soccer?

No

Anthony: oh ok.

Anthony: you have a girlfriend?

Why do you ask 😒

Anthony: just curious.

Anthony: ok.

The silence was slicing through my ears until mom pulled up on the drive way and as im getting up Anthony grabbed my arm.

Anthony: i know I'm not you're dad but I can try

I push his hand away and go to the door to help my mom and drew, Anthony just sigh's in disappointment but i couldn't care less plus he was kinda freaking me out or maybe that's just me.

As I'm putting stuff away my mom walked over.

Mom: i found a nearby school, it's very pretty.

My cat tail stopped swinging behind me and my stomach twisted.

Mom you agreed to homeschool me I say nervously

Mom: i know but you have to try and socialize and make friends, plus you're brother wants to go to school.

But ma, what if-

Mom: Milo Decoda you have to give it a try ok, and if you don't like it I'll homeschool you ok, but promise me that you will try, you're strong i know you are.

Ok mom i guess I'll try.

Mom: here I got you some stuff.

What stuff?

Mom: i got you some deodorant that smells like pineapple
Oh and a nice black sweater nice and comfy.

Aww mom thank you.

Mom: i know it will take you time to get used to it here sooooo i got you some headphones.

Yay! Thanks.

I say and then we hugged.

I love you mom thank you for everything.

Mom: Cody don't make me cry love, I will always be there no matter what happens I will always support you in every way possible ok I want you to trust me with anything I'm you're mom and you're my son.

Ok i love you Soo much.

Mom: me more sweat pea.
