Who's Mike?

~ Jerome's POV ~

We all sat in the car, this time I drove the car. Ashley sat in the backseat and Mitch in the front seat. I could tell there was this tension between them. I knew Mitch liked Ashley, but if Ashley liked him back, I wasn't so sure. Or I wasn't so sure before I saw them, cuddled up with each other in Ashley bed this night.

"Is this the first time you're at Ryan's house?" I asked just to get rid of the silent.
"Not really, I've been there once before" I heard Ashley say.
The rest of the 20 minutes car trip went in silent.

~ Ashley's POV ~

We arrived at Ryan's house and I saw Kato and Cooper run towards us when we came out of the car.
I've always loved dogs so I immediatly started petting them and cuddle with them. Then I saw Ryan come out of the house.
"Ashley!" He said and we gave each other a hug. "It's been so long since the last time we spoke"
I nodded. Then he gave Mitch and Jerome a "bro hug".

I saw Kayla also come out and it's been way to long since I saw her.
"Kayla" I said loud with a lot a happiness.
"Ashley" She answered and we both gave each other a huge hug.

While the boys talked about videos, youtube and that kind of stuff, Kayla and I walked down to the water. We sat down and had our feets in the water.
"So what's happening between you and Mitch?" She asked and chockad me. How did she know?
"And don't even try. I can see how you look at him and how he looks back at you"
"I don't know, really. I like him, but don't want to ruin our friendship. And what if he doesn't like me back?"
"You know. The way he looks at you is different than when he looks at other girls" She explained.
I looked at Mitch and smiled. Did he really like me back?

Kayla and I kept talking about a lot of things. And didn't stop before Mitch, Ryan and Jerome came down to us and asked: "Want to go golfing?"
"Yeah, sure. Why not?" I answered getting up and so did Kayla. We started walking to the car when I got a phone call.

~ Hello? I answered. It was a number I've never seen before.
~ Is this Ashley Surcombe? The voice asked.
~ Yes.
~ Your suitcase has arrived and you can pick it up from the airport.
I had totally forgot about that.
~ Oh, Yeah. Thanks. I'll be on my way there, I said excited.

The call ended and I walked back to the others.
"Something wrong?" Mitch asked. I shook my head saying: "No but my suitcase has arrived at the airport, and I kind of need to pick it up" Ryan and Kayla looked at me as an questionmark while Jerome and Mitch understood what I meant.
"Kayla, can't you go with Ash..." Ryan said but Kayla cut him off.
"Mitch, you can go with Ashley. So she doesn't have to go alone"
"Yeah sure" He said smiling at me.
I looked at Kayla to say: "Seriously?" She just smiled really large at me.

~ Kayla's POV ~

We stood there and watched them while they left.
"Why did you do that?" Ryan asked. I just rolled my eyes.
"Can't you see..?" I began but Jerome finished for me. "..They're inlove with each other"
"Well, shall we go to the Golf Course or?" I asked starting to walk to Ryan's car.

~ Ashley's POV ~

The car ride to the airport wasn't as awkward as last time. Actually we talked a lot. For the most part about youtube and Mitch told me things that would improve my channel and videos. It was a lot of fun.
"Like in you last hunger games video you could.." He started but I cut him off.
"You watch my videos?" I asked with a big smile.
"I watch all..." He began but continued: "I mean, I watch them sometimes" He blushed and so did I.
Did Mitch actually watch all of my videos? It wasn't creepy or so, just sweet. We arrived to the airport.

I got my suitcase and we started to walk out when I heard someone say: "Ashley?"
I turned around and saw a tall guy with blond hair.
"Mike? Is it really you?" I answered and gave him a hug. At the same time I looked at Mitch that was confuesed and he had the same expression when we ate dinner. He was jealous.
"I haven't seen you since, well you moved" I said happy and piller away from the hug.
"Yeah I know. We kind of lost contact" He continued. I nodded then turned to Mitch, still confuesed and jealous.
"Oh Yeah. Mike this is Mitch" I began and looked at Mitch. "And Mitch this is Mike. We were really good friends before he moved a few years ago"
Mitch and Mike shook hands.

"So what are you doing in Florida?"
"Well after we moved to LA, I lived there one year before I decided it wasn't for me. So I moved here, and have lived here ever since. I'm just picking up my sister.." He said pointing at a girl around my age. "She's staying at a friends house" He looked at me with a smile. "What are you doing here then?"
"I'm visiting some friends" I said looking at Mitch.

We talked a bit before Mitch said: "Ashley, They're wondering when we'll come to the Golf Course"
I'd totally forgot about that.
"We should meet again, tomorrow? Me and my friends were going to a bar, want to join us?" Mike said.
"Sure"

We got in the car and started to drive to the Golf Course.

~ Mitch's POV ~

I did not like the "Mike guy". I knew the look that he looked at Ashley with. A look that said he wanted to be more than friends with her. I felt threatened. Ashley was busy texting with the guy. I sneakpeeked at their chat and I read: "Come to the Night Bar at six." It was from Mike. And Ashley was texting back. "I'll be there. Can't wait".

A part of me wanted to tell her to not go. But I still hasn't told her my feelings and she wasn't my girlfriend either so there was nothing I could do.

Kayla, Jerome and Ryan looked very annoyed when we arrived.
"What the actual hell took you so long?" Jerome asked giving me a look: did you guys..?
"I met an old friend at the airport, it was all my fault. Sorry" Ashley explained.
"Well, we better don't be standing here all day. Let's go" Jerome said.
We all nodded.
