~ Monday ~

~ Ashley's POV ~

"My flight is landing in 15 minutes"
Tara texted me while I putted my shoes on.
"I'll be there"
I texted.

Mitch came down and saw me.
"Wait, Ashley. Where are you going?" He said worried.
"I'm picking up my sister Tara" I answered. But by Mitch's look I could tell something was wrong. Shit..
"Oh, yeah. Shit! I forgot to tell you that she's coming" I felt so stupid.
"That's okay. But where will she sleep? You know the house will be filled with people" He answered and took my hand.
"Well my room, if I can stay with you?" I asked and smiled looking up at him.
"Always" He answered and kissed me.
"I should go" I said after pulling away from the kiss.
"Fine, I'll come with you" He answered and quickly put on his shoes.
"No, you have a lot of work to do before Arcadiacon, so you sh..." Mitch cut me off with a kiss.
"I'll come with you" He said and closed the door behind us.
"Fine" I whispered.

"Tara" I said running up to her.
"Ashley" She said right before we hugged.
"Omg I've missed you soo much" I smiled.
"I've missed you too" She said before pulling away from the hug.
"So is this the "famous and good-looking Mitch" you've been talking about?" She asked while staring at Mitch.
"Tara.." I whispered while blushing.
"I sure am" Mitch said smiling at me.
"I'm going to the ladys room real quick, Tara you come too or..?" I asked ready to go.
"No, I think I'll stay here with Mitch and talk a little" Tara said smiling.
I gave her a look that said "don't do anything stupid"

~ Tara's POV ~

Ashley walked away from us and when I couldn't see her anymore I turned to Mitch.
"So, here's the deal. If you hurt my sister, I'll kill you. I love her too much to let her be heartbroken again. And if you break her heart, I'll break you down. Litterly.." I took a deep breath before continuing.
"She hasn't had a boyfriend since Lucas and.." Mitch cut me off.
"Lucas?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Did she not tell you? About Lucas? The one who broke her heart, made her go in depression.." I explained but he still stood there like a questionmark.
"Anyway, if you hurt her.."
"Tara!" Ashley said from behind. I just smiled at her.
"What? I was just telling him to not.." This time Ashley cut me off.
"He wouldn't" She said while taking Mitch's hand.

~ Ashley's POV ~

I drove us back to the house. You could see that Tara was impressed by the house. I quickly gave her a house tour and then showed her the room she was staying in.
"I'm sorry for all my stuff. I'll be sleeping in Mitch's room but I don't want to have all my stuff there. Is it okay?" I asked while helping Tara to unpack her stuff.
"Yeah sure, when are we leaving for Arcadiacon tomorrow?" She asked.
"Ten o'clock so get up early" I answered and she nodded.

Preston came to the house later that day. It was really nice to see him again.
"Yo, Ashley. What has it been? 6-7 months since the last time?" He said with a smile.
"Probably 8" I laughed before hugging him. Mitch got, as usual, the jealous look on his face when I hug someone.

This day had been a lot of fun. But now it was like 11pm and I was really tired. I yawned really big.
"You tired?" Mitch asked leaning in for a kiss.
"Yeah, a little" I answered before our lips touched.
"Well then" Mitch said while picking me up and carried me like a little child upstairs. He laid me down on the bed and got next to me.

"Tara told me something today.." He began. Oh, shit. That can't be good. I thought while smiling.
"It was about someone named Lucas"
My smile went away and I immediatly got a straight face.
"I don't want to talk about it.." I whispered.
"She told me that he broke your heart, you sure you don't want to talk about it?" He continued. I just nodded.
"You've been a bit, different, since you were with Mike. Has that something to do with Lucas?" He wouldn't let it go.
"It's nothing" I muttered and pretended to try to fall asleep.
"Ashley, you know you can talk about everything to me.." He just continued. I felt the anger rise, not sure why.
"What did "Lucas" do?" Mitch asked.

I sat up and turned to him, he looked shocked.
"Fine! You want to know?! I loved him but he cheated on me. With my best friend! Yeah, he broke my heart. Yeah he made me depressed. Yeah I've been thinking about it since I was with Mike because he fucking brought it up. Yeah he really made me sad. Yeah he made me cut myself" I yelled and pulled my shirt up showing him the cuts on my waist.
"You happy?!" I pulled my shirt down and laid down. Not looking at Mitch. Just staring at the wall. Mitch didn't say anything more. I sighed. Maybe I shouldn't have done that. I don't know why but I really got upset. I guess Lucas still has me hurt.

The next day when I woke up, Mitch was gone. It was 9am, we were leaving in one hour.
"Ashley hurry" Tara said looking through the door. I nodded and got up starting to change clothes.
"Where's Mitch? I need to talk to him" I asked.
"He and Jerome went to Arcadiacon before us. They said that they had stuff to do there" Tara said.
"What happend last night? I heard you yelling at Mitch" She asked.
"Lucas.." I whispered and she came to give me a hug.
"I shouldn't have told him" Tara said after pulling away from the hug.
"No, he needed to know. I just told him the wrong way.." I said and sighed.
