Hello! And thank you so much for entering the first edition of the Darling Pearl Awards: a writing challenge created to help jumpstart you from wherever you are in your writing journey. Before we begin tomorrow, I just wanted to explain a little more in depth of how each day will look:
I'm currently in CST, and I will post each task around 7-9 each morning; however, if you ever feel like you need more time to complete these challenges before the day's end, they all are listed for you in the previous chapter, so you can go check it out without having to wait for me to post it.
However, with each time I post the task, I will explain it more in depth, as well as give a possible tip or trick on how to complete it. Once I receive your task, your username will have a checkmark beside it.
To reiterate, you may send me your tasks in a few different ways:
• Email it to kyliebmckean13@gmail.com
• Share a google doc to ^
• Have a story on wattpad and create a chapter for task
FOR THOSE WITH BRAND NEW IDEAS:
This should be fairly simple to follow, as these tasks were created to build a story from the ground up.
FOR THOSE WITH ONGOING STORIES:
Should you come across a task that is "already completed" or you're not sure how to tailor it to this situation, it will be explained in the task chapter.
