Tigerpaw lead the way through Windclan's moors, running through the tall grasses in a hurry. Leafpaw caught up with him, followed by Mothpaw. Reedstar came through with Appletree, Thinstalk, and Grasspaw. The Windclan tom lead Skyclan to their camp, warriors guarding the entrance. Ravenstar mewed his thanks to Reedstar, "Do you mind if we have a quick meeting?". "What for?", Reedstar inquired. Ravenstar nodded towards Leafpaw, "She has done well on her warrior assesment, Tigerpaw too". "And Mothpaw?", Thinstalk meowed. Silverwind shook her head, "She is only few moons away from her assesment". Reedstar nodded, leaping up to Tallrock, and yowled, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather below Tallrock". The clan cats turned their head and made their way curiously to their leader. Reedstar got off to make room for Ravenstar, "First I would like to thank everyone, including Reedstar and Appletree for letting us stay". The clan's attention were now on Ravenstar and his deputy. "I just want to introduce two new warriors, Leafpaw and Tigerpaw, step up please". The two apprentices came up shyly.
Ravenstar smiled, "I, Leader of Skyclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn", he turned to Tigerpaw and Leafpaw, "Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?". Tigerpaw mewed meekly, "Yes, I do", while Leafpaw nodded. Ravenstar purred in approval, "Then by the powers of Starclan, I give you your warrior name. Tigerpaw, from this moment on you will be known as Tigerstripe. StarClan honors your courage, speed, and boldness, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Skyclan. Leafpaw, you will be known as Leafshine, Starclan honours your intelligence and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Skyclan".
Tigerstripe licked his leader's shoulder as Ravenstar rested his head on his muzzle, after which Leafstep did the same. The two new warriors shrunk slightly as the clans chanted out their names. "Leafstar would be proud", Monarchwing murmured softly. Ravenstar nodded, and let Reedstar take charge. "Let's all welcome Skyclan as not one different clan, but from us all together". The warriors gave their welcomes to the warriors and smiled warmly. Just then, fierce yowls were heard from outside the camp as Sharkstar flooded in with his warriors, and behind him were 3 foxes.
"STARCLAN!", yowled Raccoonmask, "Everyone to higher ground", Foxpelt yowled. The warriors didn't have to be told twice, but Sharkstar cornered and pinned Bigtail. "Leave my mate alone", hissed Ravenstar, his neck fur straightning up. Sharkstar smirked, he liked to see the Skyclan tom so angry, "Dillfoot", he ordered, "Kill her". "WAIT!", Ravenstar yowled, "What do you want". Sharkstar rolled his eyes in exasperation, "For you guys to join Riverclan and let me have your power". Ravenstar narrowed his eyes, "Are you an idiot?". Sharkstar shrugged, his claws still on Bigtail's throat, "Apparently, or you leave and never return". Ravenstar hissed, "Windclan is with us, Sharkstar".
Sharkstar motioned to the bloody body of Reedstar, "Oh that old tom?". Reedstar coughed blood while Dillfoot held him down. The Windclan warriors' ears pinned back, tail tucked behind legs. Ravenstar saw he had no ally in this, and with his warriors, fled the camp. Sharkstar snarled, "Yea, run with your tail behind legs like dogs". Appletree snarled, "NO! We promised them a good home", and lunged for Sharkstar's neck, but Sharkstar only grabbed her scruff, threw her down hard against the ground, and sunk his teeth into the she-cat's neck.
