Hello, how are you?? We are almost at the end of this story! I hope you like this chapter even though it's a bit short!

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

After a moment of silence and hugs, when Yoko stopped crying, Faye looked at her with concern and love. She knew the road ahead would not be easy, but she was determined to support her every step of the way.

—Ling, is there any way to trace where and how those defamatory comments on social media were generated? —Faye asked, with a determined tone, although I already know where they may come from, it needs to be confirmed.

Ling nodded. "Yes, it is possible, but it will take at least a day. I need to scan the platforms and look for any irregularities in the posts."

Faye took a deep breath and nodded, her determination only growing stronger. "We'll get to the bottom of this," she said, turning to Yoko, who she cupped tenderly by the cheeks. "And don't worry, everything in this life has a solution. Besides, you have resources at your disposal now."

Wasting no time, Faye pulled out her phone and called her personal attorney, an expert in employment rights and reputation. When he answered, she urgently explained the situation.

—I need you to contact the university and find out why they came to the decision to take away Yoko's internship. The injustice she has suffered is unacceptable. I want you to investigate how they could have come to that conclusion, because my personal relationship with Yoko has nothing to do with her performance in the internship.

The lawyer nodded, acknowledging the gravity of the situation. "I understand, Faye. I will do everything I can to clarify this matter. The university should review its process and ensure that decisions are made based on concrete facts, not hearsay."

Faye hung up, feeling a little calmer. She knew that with her lawyer's support, they would have a better chance of addressing the situation seriously. In the meantime, she turned to Ling and Yoko, determined to keep their spirits up.

—We will do everything necessary to ensure that this does not affect our company or Yoko any further. Her talent and dedication deserve to be recognized, and we cannot let Pwan get away with this.

Ling nodded, and Yoko, though still feeling the weight of anguish, began to glimpse a possible solution. Faye's strength and determination provided comfort, reminding her that she was not alone in this struggle.

After the intense conversation, Faye looked at Yoko with affection and determination. "I think you need a break," she said softly. "Invite Orm over and do something fun. I'll take care of everything else."

Yoko nodded, wiping away the remaining tears on her cheeks. "Thank you, Faye. I don't know what I would do without you," she replied, her voice filled with gratitude.

Faye gave him a tender kiss on the forehead, an action that conveyed love and support. "Sometimes I feel like this is all happening because of me," she confessed sadly. "This chaos is probably Pwan's fault and his sick obsession with me."

Without thinking, Yoko kissed him back, this time with a resolute firmness. "I only ask that we do not lower ourselves to her level. Let us not allow her hatred or her lies to affect us. Let us resolve this in the most transparent way possible. If she is the one who wants the conflict, let her expose herself to the whole world."

Faye smiled at the strength in Yoko's voice. That determination made her feel a little stronger too. "You're right. We won't let Pwan bring us down. We'll face this together, with dignity and confidence."
