A new day had dawned, and the sun was streaming through the office windows, filling the space with warm light. Faye and Yoko arrived early, ready to get back to work and face the challenges that still lay ahead.

"Ready to resume your position?" Faye asked excitedly, her face lit up with a confident smile.

"Of course," Yoko said, giving a cheerful nod as she headed to her desk. "I'll check your schedule."

At that moment, Ling entered with one of the company's lawyers. His presence brought with it an air of seriousness that made both of them look towards the entrance.

"Good morning!" they both said in unison, in a cordial tone despite the tension that was palpable in the atmosphere.

Ling walked over to Faye's desk and held out a folder with a determined expression.

"We've finished monitoring social media comments, Faye," Ling began, her face showing a mix of professionalism and relief. "As we thought, the slander about the new collection came from an influencer close to Pwan. But the comment about the collaboration came directly from her."

A flash of satisfaction crossed Faye's face upon hearing Ling's words.

"So it was her after all?" he said, his voice filled with disbelief and relief. The steps of truth were beginning to take shape, and the weight of uncertainty was beginning to lift from his shoulders.

Ling nodded, her eyes locked with Faye's. "We have her," she said determinedly. "Now we can proceed with the appropriate legal action."

Faye felt a surge of renewed energy. The satisfaction of seeing the path to clearing her name and defending her work filled her with strength. She looked at Yoko, who smiled, full of pride for her partner.

"This is a big step forward, Faye," Yoko said, coming closer. "We've faced the storm, and now we have a chance to emerge victorious."

Faye took a deep breath, letting determination wash over her. "That's right. Now more than ever, we need to act firmly."

With the support of Ling and the lawyer, as well as the strength of Yoko at her side, Faye felt ready to face whatever came next. It was a new day with new possibilities, and she was determined to claim her place and protect her passion.

The lawyer, observing the attention everyone was paying to the conversation, intervened in a serious but decisive tone.

"If the company decides to take legal action, we could sue Pwan and the influencer for civil defamation, seeking damages," he explained, his voice clear and authoritative, as everyone settled into their seats, ready to listen.

Faye felt the tension in her chest intensify. The prospect of legal action was beginning to take shape, and her heart pounded as she considered what this really meant.

—Furthermore, the lawyer continued, depending on the severity of the allegations and whether the information is deemed to be clearly false and damaging, there could also be criminal consequences under the Thai Penal Code. This includes the possibility of facing fines or, in extreme cases, imprisonment.

A heavy silence filled the room as these words sank into the group. Yoko looked at Faye, worried, and saw her biting her lip, processing the magnitude of the situation.

"Prison?" Faye asked in disbelief, her brow furrowed in concern. "I can't let this escalate to that level."

The lawyer nodded, acknowledging the gravity of his words. "I understand that this sounds alarming, but it is important to be prepared for all possibilities. Our approach must be to act firmly, but also strategically. If we can prove that the statements have truly affected your reputation and caused harm to your business, the court might be favorable to our cause."
