Entering the company, Yoko was immediately overwhelmed by the busy atmosphere of the reception area. A group of interns were gathered in a common area, and as if they were magnets, curious glances were drawn to her. Feeling a little out of place, she sat next to them, trying to hide her nervousness as she waited to be called into the office for the interview.

Soon, a young girl with a kind and calm expression approached. With a bright smile, she greeted Yoko. " Hello!"

Yoko, a little surprised, replied timidly. —Hello.

The young woman continued, introducing herself in a friendly manner. "I'm Love, nice to meet you. Are you nervous too?" she said, trying to break the ice between them.

—Hi, I'm Yoko and yes, I'm very nervous... everything has happened so fast.

Love nodded, her expression understanding. "It's weird seeing our classmates, don't you think ? That distance learning thing never allowed us to get to know each other," the young woman said, trying to make conversation.

Yoko nodded again, feeling identified. It was true; she had never had the opportunity to interact with other young people. Her father had decided that distance learning was the best option. Every time she remembered the senseless prohibitions he imposed on her, it left a bitter taste in her mouth, but Love brought her out of her thoughts.

"How do you know Faye Malisorn ?" Love finally asked with interest.

"I'm his secretary, but I took a month off to do the internship," Yoko replied, omitting the part about their relationship, not wanting people to think that it could influence her efforts.

Love was shocked to hear this and quickly bombarded her with questions. —Are you really his secretary? And he allowed you to be away for a month? But why did he bring you here ?

Yoko hesitated, surprised that someone would ask as many questions as she did, and without knowing exactly what to say, she concluded. "She offered when I told her and I accepted," she said evasively, feeling the pressure.

Love doubted her new companion's words but said nothing, "I've heard that Faye is very demanding and, they say, a little heartless."

Hearing that, Yoko clenched her hands slightly, feeling defensive. She quickly interrupted, making her point clear. "It's not like that ! Once you get to know her, you realize that she's a very good person."

Love looked at her, surprised by the intensity of her response. Seeing her expression, Yoko felt that she should tone down the intensity when talking to her about Faye, otherwise it would be difficult to hide their true relationship.

Love continued, "Surely you're left... if you have experience working for Faye Malisorn , you've already got an advantage over us." She sighed, as if the competition were too daunting.

Yoko couldn't help but intervene. "I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention it. I don't want to have any advantages just because I work for Faye, and just like you, I've worked hard i dont want a contact define me."

Though surprised, Love nodded. "It's okay, you know... I think we'll get along." She smiled at him, trying to ease the tension that had arisen between them.

The waiting room was packed with potential interns, all as eager as Yoko. Out of a total of 20 people, only 5 would be given the internship spots, adding to the pressure. Each intern seemed to have their own story, but most shared a palpable nervousness as they waited for their turn.

Finally, it was Yoko's time. She entered the interview room, feeling her pulse quicken. The faces of the top executives were watching her intently, and as she began to talk about her qualifications, she could see that they were interested. She shared her life experience, her academic journey, and her passion for business management, and in the end, she impressed the executives with her presentation without having to mention that she already worked at one of the largest companies in Thailand. After what seemed like an eternity, she finished the interview and left the room with a mix of satisfaction and nervousness.
