kamala been an emotional wreck all week! dash turning one is a big thing. he will be one on monday. they are out of town right now due to kinsley having a travel ball tournament. they are in new york city! "mom!" kinsley called out for kamala. "MOMMMM!" she yelled. maya came into the bathroom. "hey...shh your moms feeding dash! what is it?" maya asked. "i was calling her so she could braid my hair but i'll do something else." kinsley shrugged her shoulders. "i can braid it or meena," maya said. "you can braid it, tt!" kinsley smiled. maya started braiding kinsley hair as they talked and listened to music. "your hair is so thick" maya said. "yeahh, mom always breaks the comb or brush doing my hair." kinsley said as her aunt laughed. after maya and kinsley finished in the bathroom they headed downstairs to meet up with everyone. "you ready, kiddo?" tony asked kinsley. "yes! i am! mommy, howard's suppose to be in the building today." kinsley said and kamala smiled. "ohh that's great! maybe they'll look at you!" kamala said. "how many offers do you have so far?" nik asked. "uhh...umm, 5 or 6 i don't know! dad keeps track of that." kin shrugged.
they head to the center and kinsley separated herself from everyone from kissing and hugging her family goodbye. her first game was in a few minutes. dash was on high alert watching the games and the ball while he sat in meena's lap. kamala anxiety was through the roof right now. this is kinsley first game back since her knee injury. she didn't want her to play this season at all but doug insisted that she get back out there. kamala watch kinsley every move as she warmed up, her bouncing up and down. maya noticed this and tired to help mama get her mind off of it. "mommy would have loved this!" maya whispered to kamala. "she sure would have! mommy loved basketball!" kamala smiled. "she did!" maya giggled as the horn sounded. kamala heart began racing. "she'll be okay. i promise you!!" doug said. "i know...im just scared!" she said back. he rubbed her back as the game started. they both watched their daughter play like she hadn't been injured. diving on the floor, jumping up in the air to block shots. "she seems to be okay!" doug said during a timeout.*pictures of kinsley
kinsley had the ball and kamala was the edge of her seat. she watched as her daughter drove to the basket and took some hard contact and a hard fall. the whole family jumped up.. "oh my goshh!" kamala turned hiding her face in doug's chest, gripping his shirt. "she's up!" doug said. "and limping..." tony added. "EMHOFF YOU GOOD?" the coach yelled at to kinsley as she walked off the pain before heading to the free throw line. "i can't...i need some air!!" kamala's nerves were SHOT! maya followed behind her sister, heading outside. "ughhh!" kamala groaned trying to hold back her tears. "i hate doug for talking me into letting her get back out there! it's to soon!" she said. "well...she seems to be doing okay. just calm down." maya said. "im trying but its killing my nerves." kamala rubbed her temple.
