3- First practice

Sorry I haven't been very active I really like the idea of thai story but I just can't figure out how to write it. So if you have any ideas or story lines please comment them or message me with them so I can add them into the story. Also if you like Thai please vote so I know to keep updating it. Anyways hope you enjoy the story

Kekes POV

We had gotten to practice and we were walking in tighter. I was nervous again. There was gonna be lots of new people here on this team and I really hope the team likes me. We walk in and Jada comes up to me while the other three walk in front of us.

"Don't be nervous. Everyone's gonna love you" she says as she looks down at me and smiles at me. I smile back at her. She's right I just need to calm down. Becuase it's the first practice we all go straight to the gym instead of the locker room. We get to the gym and we all put our stuff in a chair and then walk out to the middle. Everyone seems like they are going by to be very ice and they all smile when they see me. I'm pretty short for a basketball player at only 5'5 so I have to slightly look up to see some of the girls. Once everyone gets here Coach Bluder calls us all into a circle.

"Welcome to the first practice everyone" she says and everyone cheers. "Now I know many of you already know eachother, but we do have one new teammate, this is Keke everyone" she says and she nods her head to me. Everyone smiles at me and there's a course of hellos. "I know you all will make her feel welcome." She then goes on and says some more announcements but then it's finnaly time to start practice. We all line up to stretch and it's lead by Kate, Caitlin, and Gabbie. So the three of them must be the captins.  We then did some works outs but then it was time to do some 5 on 5s. I got put with some girls I didn't know and Gabbie.

"Okay team huddle" Gabbie says. We then all run over to her and get in the huddle. We put are arms around eachother. We were going against three girls I didn't know Caitlin, and Jada. "Okay plan is, cover Caitlin and don't let her get a 3l she says. We all smirk at her, laughing with what she says but honestly it's so true. "Okay team on 3" she says and we all put our hands in.

"1......2......3..... team" we all say and then we run to our starting positions. We then play some basketball. I haven't played with any of these girls ever before so it was different. After a few minutes of going back and forth the score was 12-14. Us 12, then 14. There was 5 seconds left on the clock.

"Who ever loses is doing extra conditioning" Coach Bluder yells at us.

One of the girls on the other team goes to pass the ball to Caitlin. They had all been passing her the ball and letting her shot it. I had been doing taht too for my team, passing it and not shooting it. I grab the ball in the air while it's being passed. I start to dribble it down to our side when I see there's no time left, I guess I will have to shoot it instead of pass it. I get to a little bit past the half court line and shoot the ball. It all in in slow motion, everyone keeps running hoping to catch the rebound. Just as the times goes out my shot makes it in. I stabd there as everyone turns to look at me.

"We don't have to do extra conditioning" Gabbie says as she runs up to me and jumps one me, cheering. The other team mates all run over as I hug Gabbie back. I then put her down as my other teams all high-five me, saying things like "good shot". The other teams all laying on the floor looking miserable.

"We were ahead the whole time" one of the girls says on the floor. Coach then gives them all a glare as they get up off the floor. Caitlin comes up to me.

"That was a good shot fresh" she says as she pats me on the back. "Making it from half court she says as she walks away with the rest of their tree and to do their extra conditioning. Coach then comes up to us and the other team that won.

"You guys are free to go" she says, along with some other things but I block it out. We then all turn around to pack are stuff before she yells out to me. "Hey Walker come meet me in my office when your done packing up". I don't know what my face looked like, but it must have been terror becuase Kate and Gabbie both laugh at me.

"Don't worry about it, it won't be anything bad" Kate says as she rubs my shoulder, trying to be comforting but it's not really working. I just kid my head as I pack up my stuff. All I'm thinking about is all the possible scenarios. I knew I shouldn't have shot that ball. The girls last year always told me not to shoot the ball. I should have listened to them, I say in my head. Internally smacking myself. Once I pack up my stuff I go to walk to the office. Slight issue though, I dint even know where that is.

"You need help getting there "Gabbie asks me as she vibes up behind me with Jate. I nod my head yes.

"DIBT sorry we can take you" she says as th three of us start walking to the office. The two of them talk to me but I'm so nervous r that I just give them simple head nods back. Once we get to the door we stop outside.

"You've got this" Kate says and she knocks on the door for me.

"Just think of that awsome half court shot you jsut made" Gabbie says, that's exactly what I dont want to think about. The door then opens and coach is standing there.

"Hi Keke" she says as she looks at me. "Thanks for taking her here girls" she says as she usheres me into her room. Kate and Gabbie wave bye as I go in the room
