Ekko POV

I'm not sure what happened, but all I remember is being put in a new body and a different universe. It felt weird and the first thing I did was look in the mirror, after realising my outfit was different and my ears were pierced?! What is going on?!

"You're beyond help". a voice spoke, as I looked in the mirror and noticed it was Jinx...I mean Powder...or is it Jinx? I jumped back, knocking into the table behind me "Whoa, relax, jumpy!" she spoke to me. Something wasn't right, as I threw a device from the table at her. "Uh, did you just throw that?" she asked me, as I warned her to stay back. All of a sudden, the door opened as my old friend and father figure Benzo entered in. I couldn't believe it! How is this possible? Before I could think anything further, I jumped into his arms, still in shock whether this was real or not.

The remainder of the day still felt like a blur, as I also spotted Vander! Lost in my thought, Powder snapped her fingers, bringing me back to reality (or what seemed like it wasn't) "What is up with you? You've been out of it all day?" Powder ask...

The remainder of the day still felt like a blur, as I also spotted Vander! Lost in my thought, Powder snapped her fingers, bringing me back to reality (or what seemed like it wasn't) "What is up with you? You've been out of it all day?" Powder asked me. "I feel like I woke up in the wrong universe" I replied to her. "This is what happens when you stay up all night. Those synapses start firing around like drunk slugs. There's still plenty of time before the competition. Okay, we'll work out the kinks. I've got you" she said, as she touched me, but I flinched. I was still feeling very dizzy, like I was going to throw up or something, until Claggor and Mylo walked through the door, but they looked a little different in this universe too! I could feel the nausea coming on, as I sluggishly went outside and threw up heavily in a barrel.

"One can't go shouting from the rooftops about being thrust into parallel dimensions without awkward consequences. It seems the anomaly which dislodged us from our proverbial reality also scattered us across time" Hemerdinger spoke, giving me a startle as I sighed "Man, I thought I was going crazy. How long have you been here?" I asked, also wondering if I had been here for days "1,128 days, six hours and twenty minutes. Give or take" he answered. "So you've just been waiting for me all this time?" I asked him again. "Precisely. or rather, imprecisely. I grew skeptical you'd arrive even during my unusually long lifetime". "What about Jayce? Is he here?" I asked. "I fear he may have wound up elsewhere. The anomaly behaved differently around him" he responded. "Please tell me you figured out a way to get us home." I pleaded. "That is a veritable conundrum. I'm afraid Hextech was never invented here. And without a creation so prodigious as the Hexgates.." "No anomaly" I sighed. "It's not all bad. This place will grow on you. You'll see" Hemerdinger reassured me, as I scoffed.

"Grow on me? I have people back home who need me. We don't belong here. I'm gonna find a way back with or without you" I spoke, until Powder came out. "Um, I was gonna see Vi. Wanna come?" she asked me, as I wondered what Vi would also look like. I didn't want to stay here any longer. I needed to get back home to the others...back to Semona. I hope she's alright.
