Semona's life in Piltover was a whole new atmosphere for her and she could never quite fit in among the Piltovians but things would never be the same after meeting a certain someone in Zaun and finding her place in this new city. Read more to find o...
Rays of sunshine hit my face, as my eyelids slowly opened. I shifted my short body under the covers and I turned around to find Ekko beside me. I almost forgot about the events that happened yesterday and still can hardly believe that Zaun is now my new home. Lost in my thoughts, I heard Ekko breathe heavily, waking up out of his sleep. He gave me a warm, yet tired smile. "Morning" he replied. "Morning sleepyhead". I answered, giving him a small peck on his lips. "I thought I'd keep you company in your new room. I hope you didn't mind" he asked me, as I chuckled to myself. "Of course not. I'm just glad to be here with you" I replied, as he gave me a kiss on my forehead. "I've got a few things to do today, bring up some ideas to the new council members of Piltover and other things. I need you to stay here and help Scar out, just to keep things flowling easily. More new people have been coming in. We may have to start expanding and moving things around." he said, hoping I would agree with him. "I'll stay and help out as much as I can, but don't be too long. I know it was only the other day when you returned back from the alternate universe, but sometimes I get worried, and think that you're going to be gone again" I sadly replied, as Ekko put his hand on my face. "Don't worry. Nothing will happen to me. There's no more threats now. I promise" he said, as he got out of the bed.
"Things are weird without Heimerdinger here. I got used to hearing his voice and I'm sure he probably kept the children entertained. Whatever happened to him?" I asked, as Ekko stood still for a moment. "He..sacrificed himself for me to get back to my timeline" he said. "I read somewhere that Yordles are immortal and that they don't normally age like us and die, so who knows, maybe he's somewhere resting and enjoying his time" I reassured him, as he gave a small smile with a chuckle. "Yeah, probably", he answered, as we both walked outside into the sunlight. Ekko sat down on one of the benches, as I leaned against the tree. All of a sudden, I could feel something surging on the inside of me, like a warm and fuzzy feeling. "Hmmm, interesting". He looked up , his brown eyes sparkling with confusion and curiosity.

"What is it?" he asked, as he got up from his spot. "I don't know, I just felt this sort of weird, warm feeling inside my body" I said. "You sure it's not just the sun? It is at its highest peak today" he asked. "No it's definitely not the sun. It's something else, but I don't know what" I replied. "Well, while I'm gone, if you're feeling funny in any way, please don't overwork or anything. I'll fill in with Scar and let him know, just so that he can keep an eye on you." Ekko suggested, as I sighed, before he continued. "Maybe you should've gone with your sister to Noxus. You might be able to find the answers you're looking for" he suggested, as I shook my head. "That's not even an option right now! I'm not going back to that place! Too many harrowing memories." I replied, as Ekko sighed back. "I'm going to head out now. We'll speak more later" he said, softly kissing me on my lips. The round entrance door slowly opened, with Ekko and a few other firelights disappearing into the darkness.
A small hand reached up to take mine, as I looked down to see it was a small girl with black hair. Kneeling down to her level, I asked, "Hi little one. What's your name?" Before she could answer, a older woman called out her name, "Sephora! There are you. You can't run away like that!" she cried, as she came face to face with me. "I'm sorry about my daughter" she apologised. "Oh, no, it's quite alright. She's adorable. Is there anything that I can help you with?" I asked. "Yes, actually, I was looking for the leader of this place. Ekko, I believe his name was?" she asked, as i nodded my head. "Ah, yes, he's currently running an errand at the moment. Could I assist you with what you need?" I asked again, as she handed me a small device, which looked like a child's puzzle toy. "Sephora's toy is broken, from the attack. Her father gave it to her before he left to help the Piltovians" she said, with a smile on her face. "That's sweet. Where is her father now?" I asked, as she turned her head to her daughter, who was now playing with the other children. "He was...killed during the attack against the Noxians" she replied, as I felt a bit guilty, since I was born of Noxus blood myself. "I'm sorry for your loss" I replied, as she put her hand on my shoulder.
"Thank you for your kindness. Anyway, going back to what I was saying, I heard that Ekko is somewhat of an inventor. So I was hoping he could fix this, but I'll probably have to get a hold of him later when he's back from his errands." she said, looking back at her daughter again. "I could fix it for you. I have dabbled in a few things here and there" I offered. "Oh, if you could, thank you. It would mean a lot to her". she thanked me, as she left to me fix the toy. After managing to fix the toy in 20 mins, I headed out of my room until my eyes started to hurt me, and everything was glowing around me. Scar noticed me from afar. "Semona, is everything ok? Your eyes...they're..glowing yellow!" he replied, as I rubbed them vigorously, but with no success.
What the hell is happening to me?!
I hope you guys enjoyed this short chapter. After watching the Noxus cinematic video, I had an idea to not continue with the AU Ekko and Semona story and continue with the Arcane version instead
