Paula (cashes)

I plastered the "Now Hiring," sign on my window.

I was at my shop, but it wasn't officially open like it was suppose to because I had no employees, it was just me so far.

I heard the bell chime and look up to see a pretty dark skin woman with a warm smile walking my way.

"Hey." She greeted me.

"Hi, how may I help you?" Organizing the weave I ordered around in the beauty supply department of my shop.

"I heard you guys were hiring."

"Yep. Wait just a sec." I say walking to the back giving her the applications.

"So it depends on what your trying to do, if you want to do hair I need a copy of your license or certificate but it has to be renewed."

"What about the cash register."

"That's fine also, you just don't need the license." I say. She nod and smile, then walk out.

I walk to the back calling in beauty schools letting them know that I am hiring.

Some were also recommended.

After a little while of preparing my shop I locked up and walked out leaving my office phone number plastered so they can leave a message.
I walked to my car, got in and drove off heading to the trap.

I was on the freeway when I noticed the fire department and ambulance speeding.

"Damn." I noticed the black smoke clouding in the sky, and smelled ashes.

Traffic started to build up on the freeway, and I look down to my phone which was on silent.

I felt weird, like I had this weird gut feeling but I ignored it trying to keep my day positive.

30 minutes later I got off the freeway and notice that the fire was in the direction of where I was headed.

I pulled out my phone pressing the power button noticing I had 30 missed calls.

Looking down I felt my car jerk up and I notice an all black van had collided with mines.

I frown and look at the guys in mask that was right on my tail.

I sighed and sped up and turned on the next street but they followed me.

Next thing you know a gunshot went off and I heard my back windows crack.

"What the fuck." I mumble digging in my purse pulling out my gun.

I turned to a side street and notice the car still following me, but it was a car also ahead of me.

At this point I didn't know what to do, because after that car was another.

I pulled out my phone dialing Sean.

"Cashes! They fuck-"

"Sean I got three black vans on me right now! Fuck!" I ducked hearing another gunshot go off "they shooting at me call somebody I'm on king!" I hang up and speed up.

"Fuck all that I'm not going down that easily." I collided into the car ahead of me and started shooting at the car behind me.

I shot his tire making his car crash into the street pole.

I quickly bust a U- turn and turn in the alleyway.

I jump out the car, grab my purse and hop the wooden fence. I fall on my feet and run straight around the house.
