Jungkook slumped against his desk, biting his pencil as he stared at the math test paper in front of him. Red marks were scattered across the sheet, and the glaring 48/100 at the top made him cringe. He chewed on his lip, glancing toward the bedroom door.

Jungkook: "Aish... Appa's gonna kill me for this. No games for a month... maybe forever!"
He groaned, slumping further in his chair. After a moment of hesitation, he grabbed a pen and tried to mimic Hoseok's signature at the bottom of the paper.

Jungkook: "If I just sign it... they'll never know. I mean, it's not like I fail all the time..."

He chuckled nervously at his own excuse. Just as he finished the last stroke of the forged signature, the door creaked open, and Taehyung leaned against the frame with his arms crossed.

Taehyung: "Yah, Jungkook-ah, what're you doing?"
Jungkook's hand flew to the paper, crumpling it in a panic.

Jungkook: "N-nothing, hyung! Just homework."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, stepping into the room. His sharp gaze landed on the crumpled paper in Jungkook's hand.

Taehyung: "What's that? Homework? Then why're you hiding it?"
Jungkook: "I-it's nothing important, really. Just a practice sheet!"

Taehyung didn't buy it. He reached out, snatching the paper despite Jungkook's protests. As soon as his eyes landed on the red marks and the poorly forged signature, his jaw tightened.

Taehyung: "Jungkook, are you serious right now?"
Jungkook winced, trying to snatch the paper back, but Taehyung held it out of reach.

Jungkook: "Hyung! Don't tell Appa! Please!"

Taehyung sighed, looking at his younger brother with disappointment.

Taehyung: "You failed, and instead of telling Appa, you tried to forge his signature? Are you out of your mind? Do you know how much trouble you'll get into if he finds out?"

Jungkook: "That's why I don't want him to know! Hyung, I promise I'll do better next time. Just don't tell him, okay? Please!"

Taehyung looked at Jungkook's wide, pleading eyes and sighed again, rubbing the back of his neck.

Taehyung: "Fine. I won't tell him... yet. But you're on thin ice, Jungkook. If you mess up again, I won't cover for you. And don't think I'll let you off easily."

Jungkook's face lit up with relief.

Jungkook: "Thank you, hyung! You're the best!"

Taehyung flicked Jungkook's forehead, making him yelp.

Taehyung: "Don't get too happy. I'm watching you. If I catch you slacking off or lying again, you're done. Got it?"

Jungkook: "Neh, Taehyung-hyung! I'll be good, I promise!"

Taehyung gave him one last stern look before walking out of the room, leaving Jungkook to sigh in relief. He slumped back in his chair, staring at the crumpled paper.

Jungkook: "Hyung's so scary when he's mad... But at least Appa doesn't know. Yet."

Little did Jungkook know, Taehyung wasn't going to let this slide. He planned to keep a close eye on his mischievous younger brother, knowing full well that Jungkook's promises were as flimsy as the paper he tried to forge.
