As I stepped into the bathroom, the warm water of the shower cascaded down my skin, calming my frazzled nerves. I slipped into a comfortable kurti, feeling the soft fabric glide over my skin. In front of the mirror, I began applying lotion, the sweet fragrance filling the air.

My eyes wandered to the reddish mark on my neck, and I winced as I touched it. The skin felt tender...

Just then, the door creaked open, and before I could react, Arjun ji hands wrapped around me from behind. His hands rested on my waist, and his head nestled in the crook of my neck. He inhaled deeply, and I felt his warm breath on my skin.

My heartbeat quickened, and my body temperature rose. It was as if my body was attuned to his presence, responding to his touch.

His voice was low and husky as he whispered in my ear, "Never ever leave me, Cherry." His words sent shivers down my spine.

As he pulled back, I looked up at him, confusion etched on my face. Why would I ever leave him?

His eyes locked onto mine, and I saw a flicker of fear in them. He cupped my face in his hands, his thumbs caressing my cheeks.

"In this whole world, you have the power to bring me to my knees," he said, his voice trembling. "You have the power to kill me, to destroy me. Without you, I'm nothing, Vaidehi. You're the sunshine that brightens up my day, the calm in every storm, and the safe haven where I can be myself. The addiction that I'll never recover from... please, never leave me."

I nodded, unsure of what to say. I wrapped my arms around him, holding him close. He lifted me up, and we stood there, entwined in each other's arms.

The door creaked open again, and Rudra bhaiya stood in the doorway, a hint of a smile on his face. I suddenly pushed Arjun ji away, my face flushing with embarrassment.

"It would be a lie if I said I didn't see anything," Rudra bhaiya said, his eyes sparkling with amusement.

Arjun ji shot back, "Why the hell didn't you knock, Rudra?"

Rudra bhaiya chuckled and said, "Maaf kariya, Maharaj"

He shook his head and said, "Leave."

As Rudra bhaiya turned to leave, he caught my eye and smirked. I frowned, realizing I hadn't hidden the hickey on my neck.

Arjun ji kissed my forehead and said, "Sleep, I'm coming in an hour."

I nodded, and they both left the room, leaving me to my thoughts.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm the flutter in my chest. My eyes drifted to the mirror, and I couldn't help but gaze at the hickey on my neck. Memories of how it got there flooded my mind - the way Arjun ji lips had brushed against my skin, the gentle bite that had made me gasp, and the soothing licks that had followed to ease my pain.
