Arranged Hate

Chapter 4

I slowly opened my eyes and saw my mother lying on the bed next to me. I turned my head and saw Lucie cradled in Tony's arms and Malcolm asleep next to them at the foot of my bed on my couch. Actually all of them were asleep.

"Hey, you awake" someone said on the other side of me.

I looked over at Kevin.

"Hey" I said softly.

He smiled at me then took my hand.

"What happened?" I asked.

"The doctor said you were having a panic attack and the corset wasn't helping you. You scared me. If I would have known you'd have one then I wouldn't have let Malcolm and Tony hold Lucie" he explained.

"It's ok" I said.

"No its not. I'm the worst brother in the world. I can't even make one of my sisters happy. That's why I made sure the next guy left this morning. I scared him off when I changed his cologne to smell like meat then we went for a walk and someone let your dogs out" he said.

I giggled. He looked at me with sad eyes.

"That makes me happy" I said.

He smiled. I pulled him onto my bed and we hugged each other.

"Yay! Group hug" Lucie shouted and my whole family hugged me.

I giggled at these crazy maniacs which I call family.

"I think we scared all the guys away" Lucie said.

"But one" mother said.

"Who?" I asked.

"Commander Riker Day from the Navy and I don't think he's going to be easy to scare away. He's a god on the sea and has been in a few wars. His father said its about time that he needs to get a wife. If he doesn't then he's off the navy. So he's determined. He's got no fears and lots of money. Your fathers choice" she said.

"He is kind of hot" Lucie stated.

Everyone stared at her and she started blushing.

"What about your lover?" I asked her.

"Austin is hot but not as hot as him. I don't think Riker will beat Austin's personality though" she said.

"Its true. He's smoking hot" my mother said.

"Mother!" I said.

She giggled like sixteen year old.

"Oh I'm definitely telling Austin" Tony said.

"He's here?" I asked.

They all nodded. I looked at Kevin, Tony and Malcolm and they all knew what I am going to do. I grabbed Lucie in a bear hug from behind and they all ran out my room.

"No! Let me go, Tracy" she begged.

I let her go back stood up and ran with her following. I've never been this free before. I entered the spare room where he's staying and my brothers had surrounded him. Lucie ran in breathless.

"Riker is hotter than me, huh?" Austin asked with eyebrow raised.

Lucie looked down at her feet in embarrassment with blushing cheeks. Austin walked over to her and lifted her chin up.

"Don't worry. I'm not going anywhere you're stuck with me, kitty cat. You can't blame that guy for being so smoking hot" he said.

If it's possible, she blushed even more. He kissed her on the lips.
